1-1/2" Replacement Lower Duct Hose for Shark Rotator Vacuum Cleaner Motorized Lower Floor Nozzle Hose NV341, NV470, NV472, NV500, NV500CO, NV500GD, NV501, NV552, UV560

First the hose works great.Second this was not easy to install but it was due to the vaccum and not the hose.

Perfect length and diameter to fit my vacuum. It's only been in there a few weeks so I cannot comment on the durability.The installation is easy once you figure it out. If you have not replaced this part before there are some good youtube videos which will guide you through the process.

This hose was actually 1 5/8 inches.I was having a hard time installing the hose and finally got the measuring tape out to discover the OD was larger than the description said it was.

If you're thinking of trying this on the HV322, don't. It is slightly too large to easily "thread" into the pieces the old hose fit into. I managed to force mine in.If you are a brave soul and dare to try on the HV322, you'll need to completely remove both pieces the hose is attached to for ease of installing the new hose. I managed to get the hose threaded about 80% into the smaller plastic piece that is in the floor vacuum head. I had a tough time getting the other end into the piece that swivels and attaches to the down pipe or vacuum head. I had to use a pair of pliers to pull the old hose out. Pull hard on the wire first so it pulls out, then you can pull the hose out.Note: I disconnected the wires from the floor head by using a pair of needle nose pliers to re-expand the three wire crimpers (black, brown & blue wires.) You don't need to pull the wires out beyond that.Good Luck!

The hose is great, but replacing it wasn't. My son had to take the rotator head off and then the neck above it, apart. He scraped the old glue off and glued in the new hose. After letting it set up for 3 hours, he was able to attach the hose to the rotator head. It's working perfectly now. Thank God for smart sons!!!

Restored my Shark to like new performance. Was about to spend $200 on a cordless because of the reduced suction I was getting due to the ripped hose. Great purchase for restoring the power.

The hose was no where near a close fit. The length was too long so you would have to cut. Although the inside diameter of the hose seemed the same the orginal hose fits inside the new one. What I had ended up doing was Frankensteining the two hoses. Had orginal hose cut and fitted on both ends of new hose to makeshift "adapters." This was only a temp fix, I'll keep looking.

Perfect fit, wife thought vacuum was ready for the trash bought the hose on Amazon. Two days later vacuum is brand new
