Osprey Raptor 10 Men's Bike Hydration Backpack

The pack is very comfortable and has enough storage space and hydration capacity for all I need on a day out on the trail. If you remove the bladder, then the bladder compartment is just big enough to fit a 14'' MacBook which makes the pack suitable for commuting. There are numerous neat compartments and storage pockets to keep things organised - the only downside of this is that it adds a bit more weight to the pack. The integrated tool roll is a particularly useful feature.

I got this primarily as a hiking bag and as a field bag when walking my dog through the woods and fields for hunting. The water sack holds more than enough water for me and my dog during our outings. It holds his collapsable bowl, treats and it holds dummy training birds with room to spare. I can also hold various hunting accessories too. It is small and when on my back is not in the way and doesn't throw my balance off.It's been tossed around in the car and in the field and has held up well so far. It's a nice hunting knapsack.

The perfect pack for on and off road biking! Right size, right shape, right pockets. The hydration system sits where I want it, and is easy to remove thanks to a zipper that runs the length of the tube. The tool roll holds everything I need for on/off road riding, including 2 spare tubes if needed. The hip pockets are ideal for storing snacks to prevent bonk. Plus, I know from experience that Osprey really does guarantee everything they make, forever! No matter why it breaks! One thing to know is that the hydration tube really only works running over your right shoulder (that’s where the zipper runs).

This pack is perfect for mtn biking

I have used this for day hikes. size is good and the shoulder straps are tailored to keep the weight correctly distributed so they don't rest directly on the ball of your shoulder. I filled the bladder and carried two single-liter bottles of water along with food and extra clothing and it was fine, comfort-wise. The arch in the back support allows for some breathability. Waist belt pockets are roomy and a nice surprise in a hydration pack like this.Downsides for me were two. First the waist belt is not there for support. Only there to prevent the thing from flapping around if you were, I suppose, bouncing down the mountain on a mountain bike. So the weight will be on your shoulders the whole time. Worse problem for me was adding in the extra bottles. I used a couple water bottles that fit the two inner sleeves perfectly but had a hard time closing the pack with a full bladder. An extra cm of cloth on either side would have fixed this. I didn't take a star for this, but if you put two bottle sleeves on either side of the interior and you don't engineer the bag to close, well, that's odd. Still a great bag and I'm very happy with it.

I've been using the Osprey Raptor 10 for over a month now on my rides (typically 1/2 and full day) and couldn't be happier with it. Personally, I think the Raptor 10 is the perfect size and the Raptor 14 would have been excessive. There are also sufficient amount of pockets. The LidLock is nice so that I don't have to carry my helmet. The tool compartment and roll is my favorite feature, I store all the tools I need and some and a spare 27.5" tube. The 2.5L bladder is plentiful. The only complaint I have, and it's more of a preference, is the bladder opening. I prefer the Cap style on my Camelbak Rogue rather than the sliding plastic bar but still does the job.

This pack is really great. I use it for mountain biking mainly and it works amazing. It has a dedicated tool roll useful for any tool you may bring, although I didn’t use it much since I don’t have any tools small enough to bring. The water pack though is super useful. It has tons of room for water and ice and is super nice. The pack has enough room to carry some other stuff like a gopro or some mounts in it and I didn’t find myself needing more room. Even though the pack has so much room it isn’t huge and doesn’t look like a massive backpack on you. My favorite feature are the hip pockets which allows me to carry my phone, although I have an iPhone 8 and I’m not sure if a bigger phone would fit. The other side is useful to carry a mask during COVID so it’s easily accessible if needed. My only gripe with it is very small, but at some times it feels a little uncomfortable so I need to adjust it which can be tough to get to a good fit, but it’s not bad. I’ve ridden with string backs but never another real pack, and the string bags always made my back really sweaty, and although this pack did make me sweat it wasn’t bad.

This is the best hydration pack I’ve ever had for mountain biking. Perfect size for day trips. My last one was an ascend from Bass Pro and was too small. Here’s the pro’s and the con (singular, but not a big deal)Pros:• the bladder is great, holds plenty of water• the helmet secure latch on the front looks sweet and is very useful. It looks cool with a helmet latched on also.• honestly so versatile too many useful functions to list and they are all top quality.• it’s light and high quality so it’s a little pricey, that’s with anything.Con• the taste is a little ‘plasticky’ at first as with any bladder. I rinsed it out a little before initial use but still had a slight taste but after 3 uses it’s all gone..

This is my second pack exactly the same. I had the first pack for 4 years. Perfect size for a few things required on the trail. Such as a jacket, gloves, first aid kit etc. The small bike tool pouch detaches quickly when I use the pack for hiking. The water reservoir is 2.5 litres which I think is a good size for our lengthier 4 hour rides. I also use the helmet clip often. As well as the outer pocket for wet gloves and socks.

Very well built, plenty of storage space. Love that it comes with the water reservoir and a small tool bag that fits into the bottom zipped pouch of the bag. Don’t expect to fit loads into this bag, but plenty of space for a day trip.Overall, very impressed with this bag. Definitely worth paying the extra for.

Ideale Größe für Tagestouren: Es ist ausreichend Platz für Werkzeug, Wechselgewand, Regenjacke und Essen, außerdem ist der Rucksack sehr leicht. Die Leichtigkeit hat allerdings auch seinen Preis (abgesehen vom sehr hohen Kaufpreis): Die Polsterung der Trageriemen fehlt gänzlich; wenn die Trinkblase (2,5l inkludiert, sehr gut) voll ist und man etwas mehr Gewicht im Rucksack hat (z.B. Schloss), beginnt der Rucksack unangenehm zu drücken., inkl. Taubheitsgefühl. Bei dem Preis hätte auch ruhig auch noch ein Regenüberzug dabei sein können. Ein weiteres Manko ist die Helmhalterung, die zwar an sich sehr gut funktioniert, aber nur mit solchen Helmen, die großzügig dimensionierte Luftlöcher haben. Nettes Detail: Die Taschen im Hüftgurt nehmen selbst sehr große Handys (6,2") auf.

What an awesome mtb back pack this is and a must have! It’s extremely well made, designed, well organised it’s untrue. 2.5ltr top of the range bladder with fast flow mouth piece with magnetic clip for easy use, but it’s big enough for any adventures. I can highly recommend this product and a brilliant price 🤙🏼
