It is possible to get warmer gloves but not something with the style and tactile goodness these provide. Leather is soft to the touch. Consistent. Nice looking. No loose threads or signs of cut corners. Lining is warm and feels good. Just the right amount of snugness when I got them allowing them to break in just right. Not sure they would work for very cold climates but down to the mid 30's, these work great especially if you're just going around town. Given what you receive, I think these are a good value and would certainly buy again after using them all winter.

Wisconsinites know how important a warm pair of gloves is during the winter months, particularly if you spend more than a brief amount of time outdoors, and these gloves are definitely up to the task. The feel of the shearling interior is velvety and warm, and the looks and construction of the gloves are top notch.Since sizing is different due to an individual's unique hands, what works for some will not work for everyone. In my case, the hand measurement was 8-3/4 which is 1/8 inch less than the maximum recommended size L on the chart, so I counted the reviews with the words 'large' and then 'small' and the smalls won out, so I gambled on moving up to XL and am glad that I did as the XL's are an excellent fit.My previous pair of shearling gloves was American made and sourced, more expensive and lasted around 7 years. Only time will tell if the Zavelio's will last that long, but one would be hard pressed to find a better value than the Zavelios (I looked everywhere I could find before deciding on these).I would recommend these gloves to anyone looking for warm, comfortable, well constructed and stylish gloves. I have high expectations for a Zavelio Ushanka hat that is scheduled for delivery tomorrow. 😊

As mentioned by other customers, the quality and workmanship are excellent. Yes, the lining us real shearling, although the first pair I ordered had a black interior and the lining somewhat resembled fake fur. It wasn't -- close inspection proved it was indeed shearling, but likely a different breed if sheep.Next point: these gloves are deliciously warm. The other morning it was 7F with a wind chill of zero when I went out on the deck with a cup of coffee while the dogs did their morning yard patrol. Nearly 20 min, standing in the cold, and my hands were still nice & toasty -- and my hands will normally freeze in cold temperatures. I'd say if you're walking to keep your blood moving, they'd be warm in considerably colder temperatures.Finally, the fit. I'm a woman with hand size of 7 1/2 and fairly long fingers, and I find that most women's gloves are just too short in the fingers. The length of my hand from the crease at the wrist to the tip of the middle finger is 7 inches, plus a bit for the nail. The middle finger is exactly 3 inches, plus the nail; as measured on the palm side of my hand. So based on another customer review -- same hand size as me -- I ordered men's medium. It was far too large around the palm (by over 1 1/2 inches), and too long in the fingers (1/2" excess.)So I returned them and ordered men's small, and the fit is much better. There's enough extra room around the palm for a man's meatier hand, but the elastic on the interior of the wrist keeps them close enough to block out cold. The length of the fingers is perfect -- only the thumb has extra length.The lining in the small size is a natural-colored springy shearling.For years I've been stuck with either bulky ski gloves or inadequate thinner gloves & freezing hands on cold mornings. Don't know why I didn't think sooner about ordering on-line, but I'm absolutely delighted that I found these.I also ordered a pair of mittens for my elderly mother, who can't keep her hands warm in gloves. While her hands are thicker than mine, her fingers are shorter. The medium size mittens I ordered fit her nicely, but are a bit too short for me.I hope the hand measurements will help other customers choose a size. If you've been looking for warm leather gloves I believe you'll be very pleased with these. Both elegant, and highly functional.

This is as fine a glove as I've ever purchased. The leather is very soft, workmanship very accurate and of fine quality. I'm very glad that I spent a little extra and got so much more.

Not sure I agree with the size measurement chart. It said I should order XL By measurement. Wish I had ordered XXL. They should give measurments by length of hand too not just width. Going to verify there is more length in a XXL then exchange.

Die Verpackung war sehr haltbar und kam unbeschädigt an. Die Lieferung erfolgte leider erst nach Weihnachten. Die Handschuhe sind aus sehr weichem Leder gefertigt und das Futter hält die Hände und Finger sicher warm.

Je les aime beaucoup mais le majeur d'une main est mal cousu de l'intérieur. C'est un peu tannant, mais somme toutes, ils sont beaux et chauds.

The fit is a little tight but I expect that they will stretch some with wear. Other than that...all good.

okay so i was a bit hesitant to buy these but they are worth it i use mine every day i live in alberta and bike to work even during the winter weather these are amazing and i genuinely recommend them they are wind resistant and they keep your hands warm they fit great just find your size

These were a gift for my husband, and he loves them. We live in a small city and he asked where I bought them because he had been looking for a nice pair of leather gloves and could never find any here. The leather is so soft, the fur on the inside is nice and warm, and they fit him perfectly. We don’t spend a lot of time outside, but the weather here does get really cold, -30, -40 or and there’s usually at least one or two days every winter where it drops to -50 (Celsius). And these keep his hands warm while he cleans off the car, and drives to work, cause the car doesn’t finally warm up until he gets to work of course. Don’t know how they’d be if he had to spend an hour or two out in that cold. Of course I don’t think there’s much that would keep you warm when it hits -45. And why on earth would you be out in it for an hour or two? Lol
