TACFUN .38 Special Pistol Cartridge Laser Bore Sighter

This product just didn't seem to do much for me. Never helped with accuracy.

This is a well made Bore Sight laser. The "cartridge" laser was a tad loose in the Stainless Steel cylinder on my 38 Special [ good for loading / reloading the 38 ] and required a wrap of cellophane tape to assure an accurate alignment of the Bore Sight laser when dialing in my Crimson Trace red laser .This combination of two red dots makes dialing in the Crimson Trace at 30 feet a lead pipe cinch.

Not machined for .38 caliber. As suggested by a reviewer, one wrap of Scotch Celotape will make it fit perfectly. Do not overlap tape.

I definitely feel like I have a better idea of where my sights line up now. Helps for zeroizing. Note the product DOES NOT recommend firing with this in the chamber. Luckily when I accidentally fired with this in the chamber it held its own and is still working. Quality product.

just as advertised. the only issue I have is that it doesn't turn off. you have to unscrew the back so the batteries are no longer creating a circuit.. this is fine but this particular one has to be completely unscrewed which presents a storage issue with three little batteries, a cap, and a cartridge..

It was a bit sloppy in the fit, but, just put a piece of scotch tape on it one time around --- fits like a glove. I'm still waiting on my Crimson Trace laser sight so I can try it out on my revolver.

Great for sighting in arms. I even use it for draw fire pratice just to build muscle memory.

The bore sight came shipped with one of the batteries wedged in the bottom. The laser stopped functioning within several minutes and even when it was working the slightest tap would switch it off. Wish I listened to the other one star reviews. Will be returning and exchanging for a better bore sight.Edit:The laser flicked back on briefly and in that time I also noticed that it was misaligned, tracing a nice big circle on the far wall as I rotated it.
