Prestone Deicer works!
I live in a state that gets both ice storms and snow. Keep the deicer in your home, so it’s not exposed to changes in temperature. Also, if your car has ice on the door, the deicer will “melt “ ice, so you can get into your car! I have been using Prestone Deicer for years; it’s a must have.

It’s nice to have on hand!
The only downside of this is you cannot keep it in your cold car, it must stay inside & you have to remember to bring it with you to your car. I often forgot.
