Max6mum Security Window and Door Restrictor for Baby and Child Safety - White (3 Pack)

These are really easy to fit, well made, and exactly what we wanted, to allow some air through the children's bedroom windows withouth opening them. They can now enjoy a cool room without any danger of falling out. Some of the reviews mention there are no instructions but they are intuitive to fit and if you struggle there are instructional videos on YouTube.

These are great. Very, very strong sturdy design. It's very easy to use just a screwdriver to install if you don't have any electrical equipment, just takes a bit of effort. I ordered 9 of them and unfortunately 3 of them had the white cover clicked on over the small metal part.....it's quite an effort to separate them! Maybe the company could look into putting some kind of foam or plastic barrier around the metal end so they don't attach themselves during transit. So just be sure of the positioning before you attach the the covers to the window frame. Other than that excellent product, I feel much more secure in my home! Happy Days!

Plus anyone from outside can get in by flicking the latch from the outside. So bought 3 Max6mum restrictors based on the positive reviews in Amazon.I took my time fitting the first one to ensure that I didn't make any mistakes. Before I started, I tested the locking mechanism to see check that it does indeed lock and unlock. Otherwise once fitted, it will be difficult to take it off again without damaging the plastic cover which attach over each fitting - these clip on and can only be unclipped from underneath.I fitted the bit with the cable onto our wooden window sill rather than to the frame itself, then installed the other lock part into the frame of the opening window. A bonus was that the 4 screws were driven home quite easily with just a screwdriver - no drilling of the frame was needed (what I was concerned about initially with these type of window restrictors as I was worried about causing damage by drilling into the wrong bits of the frame).Once finished I opened the window a few times to test, and the restrictor does feel sturdy as the cable reaches its maximum length and stops the window from opening any wider. I am much happier now as I know my boys will NOT be able to get/fall out, and it's also a little safer from outside intruders.When it came to fitting the second restrictor to another window, it was all completed in about 5 minuntes.All in all, I thoroughly recommend this product.

Having been burgled through our window, and seeing something similar in our Travelodge room thought that this would be a reasonable priced start to our security. It was fitted by a friend and took just minutes. Comes with a key so that the chord can be unhooked and the window opened as normal. We feel so much more confident, even with the window ajar in hot weather. Added a picture, excuse the window frames but they still had fingerprint dust on them.

Purchased 3 of these for my upstairs bedroom windows..for extra secruity incase my window latch failed and the window would open fully..Puts my mind at ease knowing these are in place and my children are safe. We have put alittle hook above the window to place the key incase of a fire. highly reccommend. Easy to install..nit had any problems at all.

These are cheap, fast to fit and simple but I only want them as a safe guard to stop my 2 year old getting out of a window. These would not stop a burglar.

Easy to install and works a treat. Allows windows to open just the right amount while it’s all strapped up, no worries about kids jumping / falling out... or burglars jumping in when we want the windows open on hot days!
