9 Piece White LED Interior Lights for 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 2022 2023 Toyota Tacoma 6000K 5050 Series SMD Package Kit and Install Tool

After trying an LED light kit from a different seller (and apparently manufacturer), I was very disappointed... they provided a blue-tinted and whiter light, but seemed to be no brighter than the stock incandescent bulbs in my Toyota Tacoma. So I returned that kit and instead bought this 5050 kit from this seller. When I received this kit and started installing it, I found that these LED lights had a very white light that seemed 20 times as bright as either the stock incandescent bulbs or the first LED kit I had bought and returned. While I was EXTREMELY happy with them, I found I had screwed up and accidentally ordered this kit for 2016 - 2020 Tacoma, rather than for my 2015 Tacoma. Most of the lights were the same, but the dome light was different. I called the Seller right away, reached "Allen" at their location in Texas, and explained what had happened. He was very friendly and immediately said that he would send me the one bulb I needed at no additional cost, either for the part or the shipping. He also explained that if I wanted the brightest possible LED kits, in the future I should order the 3014 kits rather than the 5050 kits. I was so impressed with his OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE that I wanted to order two more kits from him... one for my 1999 Toyota 4Runner and the other for my 2015 Toyota RAV4. However, I could not find kits for either of those vehicles available on Amazon. So I called him again, told him what I wanted, and he made up those 3014 LED kits for me and shipped them out right away. The 5050 kit for my Tacoma was very bright, and I'm definitely happy with it, but the 3014 kits I ordered for my 1999 4Runner and 2015 RAV4 were significantly brighter still, and only cost about $4.00 more each... definitely worth the additional cost to me. Great LED lights. Plug and play for my 2020 Tacoma. Exactly the right bulbs, great fit, easy to install. I love the color, and they are the perfect brightness. Huge upgrade from the OEM lights. Better color and brightness without being harsh or blinding. Instructions were easy to follow and the lights for each place were well identified. Included tool worked well, although I think a thin flat screwdriver would be fine as well. Overall, a great product at a great price. Even the packaging was nice. I am very pleased with my purchase.

2020 Tacoma: What's not to like about this interior light kit? It includes the vanity bulbs, overhead lights, rear dome, AND the license plate lights for a very low price compared to other kits. Super easy to follow instructions, and even includes a tool to safely remove the light covers. Installation was sort of a breeze, though people with bigger hands may struggle with the map lights and the license plate lights. For the map lights, they recommend wrapping the existing bulb with tape in order to remove it, but I couldn't make that work for me. I ended up using a pliers and very gently prying the bulb loose. On the license plate lamps, while they say you don't have to get under the truck to swap them, it really helps to see exactly how the lights are mounted so it's easier to get back in. When I first tried, I didn't understand how far in it needed to go before I could lock it back into place until I got under the truck. Plus I found it hard to get good leverage on the holders while standing to twist them on and off. All in all, this is an excellent kit, and I would highly recommend for an easy DIY upgrade to your Tacoma.

Very easy to install. I had to use the “tape trick” to get the map lights, but it was no problem. The vanity lights are very bright, which I could see some people not liking. Personally, I rarely use the vanity lights so it’s not a problem at all. In addition to the increased brightness, the clean, white light from these lights makes the interior so much more appealing. I installed in a 2017 Tacoma in about 15 minutes and have never replaced an interior bulb before today. I’ll update if I have any trouble with these, but so far I’m very impressed.

Installed these LEDs in my Tacoma after watching a few youtube videos. Install was as easy as it looked in the videos, really only took 15-20 minutes, and that's taking my time. Just remember when you remove the stock halogens, they can get hot, really quickly. LEDs came with a simple removal tool that made the job easier for sure. LEDs themselves are definitely brighter than the stock halogens and do make things much better at night for my aging eyes! Recommended so far, let's hope they hold up for a while.

The lights were very bright as I expected, and the installation was fairly easy. There was one minor problem: The dome light did not work. I inspected it and saw a little dent on one end of the light, probably was damaged through shipping. I called customer service through the phone number listed in the package. It was wonderful to talk with the customer service representative. He acknowledged the problem and promised to send me the replacement dome light without any quarrel. I received the replacement in less than a week, installed the replacement and it works nicely. I appreciated the wonderful service this seller provides. The product was good, the service was excellent. I strongly recommend this product and this seller.

The lights in this kit are BRIGHT. I struggled with 2 items: The map lights are difficult to remove with adult sized fingers. I made a "tube" of duct tape that I placed over the bulbs - squeezed and left a "tag" of tape that I could use needle nose pliers to wiggle the bulbs out.. My hands too fat to replace the license plate lights but let the cops squint a bit if they need to read my plate....LOL You will need correct polarity for these bulbs to work. If they are in the socket snugly but don't turn on, remove and flip 180 degrees. Overall, a great investment for low$$. You won't believe what you have been missing with those dim yellow halogen bulbs that are OEM.

I received all the bulbs and went to replace one mirror light first and it didn’t work and had me worried so I tried another and it worked fine and I turned around all the other when they didn’t work like the paper said to and they worked perfectly fine and the one bulb the at ended up not working at all I contacted the seller and they were very Greta with customer service and texted me back immediately and let me know they are sending me a replacement bulb as soon as possible and they asked me simple fix question overall great outcome and customer service will definitely buy from them again if I need anymore for another vehicle
