KEENMen's Targhee II Low Height Waterproof Hiking Shoe

I hike regularly and I started having back aches a day or two following strenous hiking. I systematically tried different shoes and boots to see if I could stop the back issues. These Keens did it. No more back problems after strenous hikes. I love the way they look and they feel even better. Lightweight but strong with plenty of arch support. They are tough too and wear very well except on excessive concrete. This is my third pair of Keens and I'll continue to buy Keens for many outdoor activites.

I like Keen due to the stubby toe--the end of the foot is wider than most trail shoes. Fits as expected. Waterproof. I liked Targhee I better than Targhee II for a very important reason: The first Targhee had more lace eyelets, and thus could tie up better and more snugly thank the II can. Still, decent shoe.Update: I've had these a year and were them regularly in the summer, spring and fall. I use them for mostly work shoes, because they are comfortable. I hardly use them for hiking at all. However, after a year, the rubber trim in the back is starting to peel off. It seems wrong that ~$100 shoes only last a year.

I have been wearing these shoes or one similar for the last 5 years. Very stable but please don't forget an insert. I consider the one that comes with it just for trying on the shoe. You really need to find one that fits yours needs. I use SuperFeet Green D. I buy these shoes once a year and get SuperFeet inserts twice a year. Job Done.

These feel like house slippers with perks like waterproof and easy on and off.Also at a good price.

Awesome shoes at an awesome amazon price. The brown leather makes this an acceptable 'street shoe' that is also good for hiking in even wet conditions. If i'm going traveling, and I can only bring one shoe, this would be it. It looks decent if you're dressing up with pants and shirt, but also great for outdoor activities.

Having used KEEN low hikers previously, I was confident enough to buy these without even trying them on. They're working out well, as expected

トレッキングシューズは好みあると思いますが、私は今まで一番履きやすいシューズでした。仕事用に使用、自転車なので雨天時でも使用でき脱ぎ履きが非常に容易で重宝しています。あとはどれだけ耐久性があるかですね。

I bought these because my (second) pair of Keen Jaspers finally gave up after 3-4 years of abuse on a goat/fruit farm and walking West Papua, and then walking and hiking in Taiwan, Japan, Africa, and Europe. To be fair, I pushed those Jaspers too hard, so I got these for the farm and Jaspers for walking and man, was that a good decision.These are really comfortable, feel a little like Nike airs, but tough as nails. Can't comment on durability because I've only had them for a month but they are great shoes. Actually wanted some steel caps, like the Keen Utility Men's Lansing Low Steel Toe Work Shoe, but could not get those in Japan. So these were my second choice, but I was *very* pleasantly surprised. I think we're going to be together for a long time. Fits as expected. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Great shoe, Does all that it says. Second pair as first pair lasted ages. Just as good a fit and just as comfortable. Looking to get good service from these.
