When I first tested it, I only had a few inches of water in a 55 gallon drum and it wouldn't work but then I filled the drum to capacity and it was great. I left it to pump and when I came back it had stopped, not sure why but I started it again and was able to step away again and let the rest pump out. I had to manually finish off the last couple of inches but very pleased with how it worked.
