We had been buying filters at a local retailer that cost about twice of what this filter costs. Installation was a snap, it fit perfectly with no issues. Per the instructions, we ran approximately 4 gallons of water by filling up a 1 gallon container and pouring it out. This is the same procedure as with the other product we had been purchasing. This is an important step because most new water filters need to have 4 gallons of water run through them to remove very small particulates. You will see a slight blackness to that first gallon. Each gallon after that is more clear. After the fourth gallon, I filled up a glass and the water was clean and clear and it tasted great. I recommend this filter, it is a great value both in price and performance.

Easy to Install, you just twist and it goes in then you flush water threw it. Works great and makes water not have that tap flavor and was a good price too.

This filter fits perfectly in my GE fridge and the price is pretty fantastic.

After returning one incorrect mislabelled filter, this one was installed easily. It works as it should and Is a great price. I’ve been buying the filters that cost five times the cost of this one, for several years, so to find one at such a huge saving is brilliant.
