Good aquarium stand
This stand is very sturdy feeling. I can't attest to its paint bubbling up in water as I haven't yet gotten it wet. It took me about 1.5 hours overall, most of that time being spent on the door. Keep in mind I'm a teenage girl doing this by myself. It definitely would have been quicker with an extra hand. The rest of it went right up in maybe 30 minutes. If I were to replace it or get another at any point I would definitely do the one WITHOUT the doors.A few tips:-Pay close attention when it says to insert the 12 part B's (the big round thing with a phillips head on one side). There are 4 large holes on the front each of the panels (#4 and #5), and then a smaller corresponding hole on the side of each panel. The little arrow of the phillips head should be pointing toward the hole on the side. If you put it in the wrong direction it is easy to adjust by just using a screw driver.-If you want the magnetic door latch on the top instead of the bottom of the cabinet, screw it on to the bottom of the middle shelf before you mount the middle shelf to the side walls of the cabinet space. I feel like this would have saved me a lot of the time I spent upside down with my head inside the cabinet.-As with pretty much anything you assemble, don't tighten the screws in one side to 100% before you put the screws in the other side. That way you don't end up crooked. This is pretty important when you put the top on.-The instructions say to screw the poles into the bottom of the top shelf, then to rest the whole thing on top of the middle shelf and screw the bottom of the poles in after. I found it easier to screw the poles into the middle shelf, then rest the top shelf on top of the poles to screw it in last.-If you have someone that can hold the door in place while you screw the top door hinge in, it helps immensely. Otherwise the rest of the installation can be done by one person no problem. To put the size into perspective, I'm 5 feet tall and this stand doesn't even come up to my hip. Some measurements:Weight limit (according to instructions): 290lbWeight I've personally tested: 220lbOverall height 27.5: inchesWidth of top shelf/width overall: 31 inchesDepth of top shelf 13.5: inchesHeight of middle shelf: 12.5 inchesWidth between poles in middle shelf: 25.5 inchesDepth of middle shelf/overall depth:15 inchesHeight inside cabinet: 13 inchesWidth inside cabinet: 29 inchesDepth inside cabinet: 11.5 inches

Here are the correct measurements and pictures
Here are all the correct measurements for this stand, and some more random measurements.Height-27 1/2"Top shelf length-31"Top shelf width-13 1/2"Easily holds my 29 gallon tank(see pictures)With the tank on it, it is 46" tall all together.Random measurements you may want to know, the middle part height is just over 12 1/2" and from between bar to bar is 26" long, and from bar to bar width is 8 1/2"Other infromation- it's pretty simple to put together, the only part you really have to worry about it the doors, if you are off they will scratch the wood or just not open at all, but that's my fault for not putting it together just right, plus I can fix it. I also added pictures of the directions, sorry, I got them wet but if you zoom you can read them.... Hopefully lol. Also, I read about the water destroying the paint, I am so sorry that happened to yours, but it didn't happen to mine and I left water on there for more than 20 minutes. Anyways I hope this helped! If you have any questions please let me know, I'd be happy to answer all that I know.

STAY AWAY!!!!!
I ordered this to arrive right before I went on a business trip. I wanted it here for when I returned that I could get my tank setup. Item arrived day of business trip. When I returned from my business trip, I made a quick stop at the fish store to get some gravel, live plants and some decorations. Took the stand which was still in the box unopened to my new house, carried it upstairs, (now this stand is heavy) opened it up and started pulling everything out.Seemed to be heavy and nicely made, once I got everything out, I started saying to myself.. what's missing.. Took 2 seconds, to figure out what it was..IT WAS THE FREAKING INSTRUCTIONS! HOW THE HELL DO YOU EXPECT SOMEONE TO BUILD A STAND WITH NO INSTRUCTIONS!!! as my live plants now start to die!!!!I went online thinking I could find the instructions, petco had nothing. Aquatic Fundamentals web-site is shut down.. I guess out of business? Seems I read some where that theirs stands aren't safe.Anyways.. I NEED A STAND NOW!!!!!! Our fish store is closed on Sundays, but I called them today and they are going to be nice and open for me to get one on Sunday. Hopefully, I'll be able to get one, so my plants will not die.

Reword the description heading...
I absolutely love the look and construction of the stand itself. Unfortunately, I have two tanks. To me, the description suggests that this stand houses a a 29 AND a 20 gallon tank. I was disappointed to learn that it was meant to only hold one of them. I was just glad that I could at least use it for the 29 gal tank that I have as I already did have the smaller one set up and had to leave it where it was...

Looks good in my space.
My only beef with this stand is that the middle section barely has enough room for a 10 gallon aquarium. And if you DO put a 10 gallon aquarium in the middle, there is just no way to open the lid because it barely fits. I plan on extending the pillars so that I can utilize the space for a 10 gallon aquarium, while using the top platform for my 20 gallon aquarium.

Poor construction
I read the reviews with great hopes. I wanted to support only one terrarium. Theoretically this could have been perfect! Unfortunately, the screw holes for hardware that attaches the side panels are wider than the holes in the side panels. There's absolutely no way to build mine, at least.Legs to hold the bottom piece above than the floor would've been nice but I could live without that. (I guess I should have noticed that in the photo). The poor construction precluding any ability to put the thing together, though, makes it a complete waste. I've arranged to return mine.

Great stand
Looks great seems pretty strong. I wouldn’t try to move it with a full tank on it but sturdy. We have a fish tank on top and a critter tank on the bottom and under keeps it all the food n stuff.
