Showcase your aquarium atop the durable Aquatic Fundamentals 50/65 gallon Upright Aquarium Stand. This quality tank stand is ideal for supporting rectangular tanks whether it holds 50 or 65 gallons. The finish and contemporary design are sure to suit any style of decor in your home. Made of dense fiberboard and covered in an attractive melamine laminate, the solid top design of this stand supports every inch of your aquarium unlike many other "lip-only" Stands that only support corners. The strong design lets you use this aquatic furniture safely with a variety of tanks and other pet habitats. The front of the stand is covered to conceal any essential but necessary equipment such as filters and pumps. You can easily reach the accessories through the center panel door. The back of the stand is open except for a single support brace; this lets you conveniently route chords or tubes from the aquarium inside the stand without cutting away panels. Stand only, tank not included.

Easy to put together
Easy to put together, great price, and looks great with my set up. Only negative is it scratches easily. I keep a bearded dragon in the aquarium above and my little Yorkie tries to get to him at times and scratches at the stand. There are a few scratches but not noticeable unless you are right on it looking for it. So for the price I would buy again.

Disappointed
This product was easy to put together but the holes were not made big enough for the screws. Everything was scratched. Not worth the money whatsoever.

Very substantial, totally reliable.
Excellent product. I own two of these. It is easy to set up if you take your time to lay it all out first. All it takes is a screwdriver. Never have had concerns about it being strong enough or stable. Shipping was fine, but be aware that it is a somewhat heavy package before unpacked. My only wish would be that the center door could be a little wider. However, one gets use to working within the space provided.

Nice stand!
I like the stand. I was able to assemble it alone without any problems, although a partner would make it faster. The instructions were good. Seems very sturdy and looks nice with my 50 gallon aquarium. I like how the front door 'clicks' open and closed. The partially open back gives fabulous access to the electricals. No complaints or concerns.

Great tank
Great price, beautiful tank. Don't like center bar on top but understand why it must be there. A lot of storage and our aquatic turtles love all that space from 20 to a 40 gallon. Best part, didn't have to buy a tank and a table separate. Looks great too.

Highly Recommended.
There was a knock at the door and a package arrived. I opened the box to find another box plainly packaged. I opened that box only to find individual components neatly wrapped in protective foam wrapping. Holy smokes these pieces are heavy, coated and sealed ,not cheap particle board with laminate. These parts have a semi gloss black finish and seem to restst any scratching. I lay the parts out just to find a pair of hinges and a magnet, 24 studs and cam locks and that was about it. Reading the instructions it showed that all you have to do is screw the studs in then install in desired location, insert cam lock and move on to the next piece. The final part of the assembly was the door. Install the 2 hinge pieces and the magnetic lock, install the door with minor adjustment. The lock mechanisim is real nice, you push the door in to lock/unlock. The whole thing took about 35 minutes to assemble. The bottom is flat and coated on both sides like the top. Another thing that I liked was the fact that this stand needed no leveling and the door worked fine. Being that there were no markings on the box and on the instructions so it is safe to assume that this was a nicely crafted piece of furnature made here in the US which is rare today. Being that the stand is sealed it seems that it will not suffer form water damage, salt problably wont damage it either. I am using this stand for a reptile cage but I do not doubt that it will hold the weight of a fishtank. The compartment on the bottom has more than enough room to accomidate a filter with some room to access for servicing. Great stand, great quality, one of the easiest pieces of furnature to assemble at a great cost. What could be better? I just wish I found this stand for my other reptile cages, I could have bought 2 of these for the price of 1 of my crappy made in china ones.

Great aquarium stand!
This stand is gorgeous! It arrived promptly, was very easy to put together (great directions, requires only a screwdriver, and the predrilled holes were actually all in the right places--not always my experience with put-it-together-yourself furniture), and looks great. It's very solid, and while there's not a full back, there is a piece to add support to the back center, and it sits close enough to the wall that nobody can tell it's open. The openings also makes it easy to run cords and hoses from inside the stand to the tank. The surface isn't smooth, but the water-resistant coating makes it easy to wipe off, and the minute texture gives it a cool matte look. Love it!
