American Baby Company 100% Cotton Percale Fitted Crib Sheet and Skirt, Gold/Pink Kilim, for Boys and Girls

I've never been one to write a ton of reviews. But I was folding these out of the dryer today and felt compelled to write a review. I have owned these for three years now. They have been washed dozens and dozens of times in hot water. There has been truly very little fading, and the stitching still looks great. My "baby" is almost 3. These are the only sheets she has slept on and you know how often baby sheets get washed in sanitize cycle. So the fact that they still look great speaks volumes for the sheets. Attached are some photos I took today after dozens and dozens of wash and dry cycles.July 2020- Ok I know this sounds crazy but these sheets are on freaking baby number 2. No joke. He is 27 months. So ya. Seriously I got my money’s worth. (Uploaded is a pic of my second baby with these sheets. Year 6!)

I’m surprised that this item had gotten so many positive reviews! Maybe the quality used to be better in the past?First of all, it is not a percale weave cotton. Percale woven sheets are smooth and the threads are closely woven and flat! These sheets are nothing like that, and they feel like SANDPAPER. Can’t imagine sleeping on them, especially for a baby. They’re not soft, and totally uncomfortable.Wouldn’t recommend.

This Percale crib sheet has been awesome. It is cute, gender neutral and has held up very well. We have washed it and bleached it and soaked it and it still looks brand new. It is quality fabric. If I needed to buy another, I would buy this again, but it doesn't look like it will be wearing out any time soon! It looks adorable with our white crib. The corners fit perfectly and the whole sheet is snug. I love that it isn't hard to put on like some fitted sheets are. Also, these are cotton so they do not stretch. They will not pop off no matter how much your child jumps up and down and crawls around. Whatever you do, don't buy the stretchy jersey style sheets. These are the ones for you. The jersey style constantly has corners popping off, or the edges of the sheets slide, and if you put an unfitted mattress pad under a jersey sheet, your mattress is totally unprotected. You should always go with cotton sheets, no matter if it is your bed or your child’s bed. Cotton sheets will last you a million years and they get softer with each washing. When I am done with these sheets, I will probably cut them up and use them for a baby quilt for someone, because they will not have worn out at all. They are great things to have on hand, and you always need an extra or two in case of those middle of the night accidents.

This is absolutely NOT cotton percale, not natural or organic and this sheet feels like sandpaper!it's either not the real thing or the quality has changed for way worse. Look up most recent reviews. They are all the same as mine. Super disappointed and will be returning.

Overall I like these sheets. They show up super vibrant but start to fade a little after a few washes. My biggest issue with them is that they show every single spot that gets on them. With a baby you have to wash these all the time because every time they slobber or spit up it leaves a giant spot. They look very cute but aren’t the best for not wanting to wash the sheets daily.they are the texture of regular sheets. No added softness for baby.

I KNOW this is not intended for pet use but it has worked like a charm!My dog’s bed seems to ABSORB her fur and it didn’t matter how many times a week I was cleaning it. So I gave up and bought this sheet to cover it assuming it would be easier to clean… And it has!It’s super soft, it has no special washing instructions and it’s well sewn.

I've purchased 4 or 5 of these sheets, I love them so much. The patterns are awfully cute, they hold up really well to weekly washing, and the fit the crib mattress really well. I've gotten compliments on these sheets a few times since we've had them (a few months now). The only thing I wish was different is that I wish there was a zip around the top edge of the mattress. It's a pain to pick up the crib mattress every week (or more if there are any accidents or burps) to change the sheets. I'm tall, and I can't imagine having to bend down all the way to the bottom to get the mattress out all the time if I was any shorter. Regardless, these sheets are unique in their patterns and hold up so well that I'm willing to overlook the zipper shortage for the time being.

I love the design, it fits my standard crib mattress (the cheapest one on the shelf at Target) but the colors do fade a lot and VERY quickly. I can't give an exact number of washes because we used it in combination with another set of sheets and then I gave up and had my son sleeping on his bare mattress for a while (he is a massive spitter and it was easier to just wipe up his mattress cover than struggle to find a non-soggy spot to make it through the day with only one sheet change). My estimate is maybe 5 months worth of regular usage. I like the sheet, but will not be buying from this company again.

I love cotton sheets, however, I have never in all my years seen a sheet that attracts more lint than this one and all my sheets are cotton. Every time I wash it no matter what I wash it with I need to pass it with a lint remover twice to remove all the fuzz!! Also, the fit over the mattress is not perfect. It’s cheap but not quality wouldn’t buy again.

One worry I had was will it fit? I got one at a store that was a bit tight ( especially since I use a quilted pad under) ur these fit perfect and a good value for the sale price I got them... not the softest but they are nice and smooth when on the mattress. No pilling so far and I have washed them well over a dozen times. I recommend these fitted crib sheets!

Very impressed with this sheet, it's 100% cotton so not very soft at first but, I bought in red, expected it to bleed out when washing so washed it by hand, absolutely no bleeding, I put it in the dryer and no shrinking either and hardly any wrinkles. Love the quality. Would definately recommend!

The sheets I ordered are still being used by my now-three-year-old. Having undergone many, many washes in the washing machine and the dryer, the sheet is still holding strong. Great value.

Poor quality and when washed with similar colours in cold water ad put in dryer on delicate every little piece of lint stuck to this material I lint rolled it the first time thinking maye it just needed a wash first but second time in dryer did the same thing. Every bit of lint stuck to the fabric I actually threw it in the garbage . I'm a busy mom of two kids 13 months apart and don't have time to be lint rolling sheets .... I bought jersey knit ones also and those are much better and nothing sticks
