this book puts a more modern and a little bit more comedic twist on the sotry by Shakespeare. I thought that this version was a little hard to understand be cause some of the genders were switched for some of the supporting roles but it was a really good book overall. Really recommend this to anyone looking for a lovestory.

This manga was very unexpected for me. If you love the Romeo + Juliet movie but with a boarding school setting with a slice of life aspect, I am sure you will probably enjoy this. This had so many different characters that can take the series in so many different directions, although I hope I don't get anyone confused for other people(which almost happened a couple of times so I am hoping it gets better). This has some mature moments so I recommend this for the 16+ age bracket not younger. I also wonder how the plot is going to go but its not overwhelming in the sense that I do not want to continue on (I really do). Because of these points, I have to give this a 3.5 out of 5 stars

Has a great telling of the forbidden love between to rival nations

Boarding School Juliet is will not be the best manga you ever read. It will not blow you away with intricate storylines and complex characters. It will not wow you with commentary on social and modern affairs.But it will, consistently, make you smile, laugh, and just feel a little bit better about the world once you're done with a chapter or two.If you are a fan of heartwarming and touching stories that can dependable lift your spirits and make your day a little brighter, read this series. You won't regret it.

Good artwork, crazy, sometimes chaotic story. I love the artwork that's Manga. While I choose this book as a quick read, it is enjoyable and worth the time spent reading. There are a few pictures I'm going to practice drawning.

~3 StarsI had higher hopes for this volume.Two countries are practically at war, and the prestigious academies share a plot of land, though they're extremely separated. Romio is head of the black doggy side, and Juliet is head of the white cat side. They have daily battles, and neither wants to give in. But Romio has been infatuated with Juliet for a while, though of course he's not allowed to tell anyone, let alone her.When they decide to secretly start dating, it causes some conflict in their fights.Romio is kind of cute, how he fawns over Juliet and wants her affection. Juliet has to put on a brave face, since she's a woman in charge of her school, so it's a little harder to see whether she actually likes Romio or not. It seems like he's growing on her, but their start to dating seems more like her just giving in to appease him, a bit.We meet a couple of other characters, and seeing Juliet's friendship with the tyrant princess adds some humanity to her character, I think. Otherwise, her side of the romance doesn't quite seem as believable.This series just didn't really hit me. I wanted to like it, but it reminded me of Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches, and I think that one does it better. So far, at least.But to be fair, I'm also not big on the Romeo and Juliet thing?

Without a dout the manga has a very interesting and romantic plot, however the main thing is the book is strong and good quality, the pages of the book looks great and nice, the print does not overlap, and everything is nicely visible. If you are planning to buy this manga please do.

La historia de Romeo y Julieta en una versión moderna con bastante comedia y uno que otro momento un poco exagerado, aún con varios clichés clásicos de las historias de Manga es bastante entretenida y con varios personajes, aunque no todos te van a agradar, bastante recomendable si te gusta la comedia con una historia y personajes que se vayan desarrollando.

As mentioned in the title the story is really great. I don't want to say too much about it but i recommend to read it.Also the packaging and quality is important. I got the book safely and undamaged in a fanatastic condition.Give it a try if you're interested!
