Invacare Desk Length Armrest Pad BLACK BASE - 9" LONG

My in-laws ordered a transport chair and one of the armrest was broken, I called to replace the armrest and they sent them a whole new chair & told them to donate or throw away the damaged chair. After they got the new one, they gave us the one that was damaged and I ordered these and they fit perfect. A new transport chair for $14.48, not bad at all. These are well padded and look great on the chair. I liked that there are 3 bolt patterns on the armrest and one of them was perfect!!

Bought for an Invacare Tracer EX2. Fits perfectly and looks great. I actually think the vinyl on this new pad actually looks subtly better than the factory pad (subjective). Screws do not match the original screws, which were sort of a black anodized round head Phillips screw. These machine screws are more of a flush mount flat head silver Phillips screw. Since the mounting surface is indented, it seems to me that these screws are more appropriate for the application than what comes from the factory. Chair will be used by someone else so we will have to see how well it holds up over time. For now, though, it looks great.

My wife is permanently in a wheelchair, and due to constant use the arm rests wear out in about a year. These are direct replacements for the ones which come standard on Innvocare wheelchairs. The price is reasonable, and they are easy to install. Having said that, be sure to keep the screws which came originally with the wheelchair - the replacement might not come with any, or they might be the wrong size. I also put Loctite on the threads, since there are no locking washers on the screws, and they tend to work loose under normal use.

Fit perfectly. Easy to install and my wife likes the feel of them better than the originals. To follow up on my review after about 4 months, these broke down and needed to be replaced again after really soon in my opinion. The original pair lasted about the same time. It seems i will need to replace them 3 or 4 times a year. I wish they were more durable.

Finding a replacement bracket for this armrest was difficult, yet, using 1/2 inch diameter plastic plumbing pipe, I was able to fabricate a sturdy bracket to mount it onto my wife's wheelchair. Fortunately, the pipe fit inside the wheelchair tubes and fit perfectly under the armrest.

Purchased this for my husband's wheelchair. I purchased one in the past and had no issues. The holes in this one have never lined up correctly. I would have to try to tighten every couple of times my husband gets in his chair. He is having home health therapy now ( after recent surgery) and his physical therapist couldn't get it to fit correctly either. I contacted the seller a couple of weeks ago ( it was past the cut off period... I just kept thinking I wasn't doing it correctly and being busy being a 24/7 caregiver!) The seller never responded to me.

I was worried the screw holes wouldn't fit our brand of chair. But there are an assortment of holes, I suspect to fit a variety it not all brands. It was a welcome surprise for my husband. So inexpensive....it can certainly tidy up your worn out armrests. You may have to finagle getting a screwdriver to access the arm but I just removed what was in the way and then reattached it. EASY>
