Nice bulb
It didn't fit my machine. I have a new machine and who knows? Maybe it'll fit my new one. Kind of pricey. Can't say about the ease of installation or brightness? as I haven't used it yet. Lifespan? No clue.

Works Great - But It Needed Adjustment to Fit
This worked well once I got it in. But the pins on the side of the barrel were just a bit wider than they should have been, making it impossible to slide the bulb into the socket. So I carefully filed the pins down until they matched the dimensions of the original bulb, and all was fine.For reference, the machine is a Singer 201 series from 1940 (Serial Number AF640963). The previous bulb was probably the factory original.

Fit my vintage sewing machine
I had no idea what size bulb my vintage sewing machine needed, so I took a chance knowing that vintage Japan made sewing machines were replicas of Singer sewing machines, which this brand said it fit. Delighted that it is the correct size bulb.

I've got a Kenmore sewing machine my Dad got me 30 years ago. I've only had to replace the bulb a couple of times & got the bulbs from Sears. Now that they're gone, it's nice to have a place where I know I can find one. This bulb fit perfectly & is wonderfully bright. It came quickly & well-packaged. It was exactly as described & a good price, which is what I like in a product from Amazon!

Works in 30 year old Freezers too
I have a freezer that if it was in Indiana Jones and the crystal skull, I 100% would have believed he could have survived a nuclear test in it. The thing is probably as old as I am as it came with the house. We had a heat wave and some of the plugs gave up the ghost, which caused the freezer to stop working obviously. While troubleshooting I realized I couldn't really tell when the bloody thing was on as all the lights didn't work. I took out probably the original frosted light bulb and replaced it with this LED one. Fit perfect and works great.Just on the off chance anyone's got a freezer from the 80s that's not designed to fail in 8 to 10 years.
