Works well as a non-chlorine MPS peroxide shock and there are much less expensive options
Works well as a non-chlorine MPS peroxide shock... We add 1/4 cup weekly to our 300 gallon hot tub to get rid of chloramines and free up free chlorine. You can find MPS non-chlorine shock from others manufacturers on amazon and elsewhere for a fraction of the price. Minus 1star for price gouging.Nava or In the swim or doheny all sell non-chlorine oxidizer with the same active ingredient (mps) for $3-5 per pound in 1 pound pouches or bucketsWe were rapidly getting high cya using dichlor so shifted to "dichlor bleach method" + 50 parts borate from boric acid with good results. Check out poolcalculator on the web.

Bottle arrived open.
Bottle arrived sealed in an envelope, which was important since the lid was not attached. Not sure why lid was not sealed, makes me wonder if the product was used, or if I received the full amount of chemical I paid for.

Works great - actual RENEW
This is the actual RENEW product. Easy to get it mixed up with the RESERVE that had a very similar container. Works great on my hot tub.
