The new LED's give about the same amount of light or maybe a bit more than the incandescent bulbs. They are certainly not the equivalent of a 350 watt bulb.#2 - To my eye the 3000K color rating is too high. It looks a whole lot more like 2700K or maybe even a bit less. I was really hoping it would be a bit whiter in color. I have other 3000K bulbs that are much less yellow than these. Again, to my eye, the lighting in the garage looks the same with these LED's as with the incandescent bulbs they are replacing.#3 - when turning them on there is a slight pause (1/2 second or more) before they light up.They are satisfactory for use in the garage and do cut the power consumption by over 80%. This light changed the way we see things, literally! We have it installed in a recessed light fixture, the basic ones that come with all of the cookie cutter houses these days. I was hoping that this would protrude a tiny bit to help spread the light and it does, not by much but it sure makes a great difference! I wish I would have ordered this for our house a year ago!! We have the daylight type, not warm light, and I'm glad we do. It's a very clean white light.
