It’s a perfect size not too big or too small.
Love all Cuisnart pans. I love the high sides on this pan and that it is oven safe. Cleans up nicely.

PERFECT PAN
This pan is the perfect one, for non stick, in my opinion. I have been cooking over 60 years and this pan fits the eye of the stove, heats extremely well, deep enough to cook a lot of food, and the clean up is so easy. It has weight, but not so heavy for older folks. I tried 3 others before I found this one. Thank you Amazon, for carrying such quality items, such as this one!!!

Super durable and easy maintenance!
My wife and I received a Cuisnart 10 piece set from our registry in 2014 and we’ve been very satisfied with the durability and non-stick coating. The lid handles are about 1.5-2” away from the glass surface and helps prevent burns whereas other lids have short knobs. My mistake in caring for pans was rinsing the 10” 3-quart sauté pan immediately after cooking steak. Doing this a few times will warp the bottom of the pan and make cooking more difficult as chicken would not cook as evenly or quicker. Oil would pond in the middle, you get the idea. It’s a great pan and actually like that the 3.5 quart is a little taller. Keeps more hot oil from spattering out of the pan. Price was great in comparison to other models and brands for the durability.P.S. Wait for pans to cool to room temperature before washing. They’ll last much much longer.

Nice, but beware if you are used to stay-cool handles when you cook...
I chose this particular pan because my husband and I subscribe to Blue Apron, and a number of their recipes have called for a "high-sided pan", somewhere between my regular skillet and medium saucepan. This fits the bill perfectly, with sides high enough for following the instructions to "stir vigorously" when combining veggies, pastas, and butter to make a sauce, and in that you can move it from the cooktop straight into the oven for meals like baked eggs. However, the reason I dropped a star is the handle--you must remember that the handle gets HOT while on the stove top. The skillet I use is a Calaphon that I got as a wedding gift, which has a heavy, thick metal handle that stays cool no matter how long it is on the heat. As a result, I am very much in the habit of using the handle while cooking to manipulate the pan as needed and I do it without thinking. Unfortunately, the other night I instinctively went to do the same with this pan to swirl some butter and burned the palm of my hand. While this is obviously my own fault and not necessarily a flaw of the pan, I do think it is worth noting for those of you who are considering it who may be in the same habit of grabbing for the handle like me. This was not the first time I did it and I know it will not be the last. In fact, I'm about to go looking for some of those silicone handle covers that might save me some burnt fingers in the future. In sum, this is a nice little pan as an "in-betweener", but you may want to think twice if you are accustomed to cooking with stay-cool handles. While I might still buy it again, I'd probably look first to see if there was a similar pan out there with a handle that does not get so hot during cooking.

Our go to pan for almost every meal
We started getting Hello Fresh meals delivered approximately 1.5 years ago.The first one was used approximately five times per week for over a year before we replaced it.This pan has plenty of room for most of our meals, it is very durable, it heats evenly, and can be used in the oven to melt cheese or bake biscuits on top, whatever. Will buy again when the time comes to replace this one.

Not made for long-time everyday use.
I had had this pan for 9 months. It seemed well made and the lid fit tightly. The rivets were robust and the handles were sturdy. But, the non-stick coating wore off in just two months. I never used metal utensils on it but the coating wore off to the black under metal and it lost its non-stick capability quickly. I think it is a waste of money. Cheap pans never last.

Light weight non-stick great performer
I purchased this vessel to replace a Cook's 3.5 Q one that looked very similar to this one. For the Cook's, indentations had developed in the middle and I wasn't sure if that was good for me or not. I use an electric stove top.The Cooks was a lot heavier than this one, including the lid. The walls were also thicker.I've used the Cuisinart for a couple of months and seems to be a good performer. It is light, heats up a lot faster than the Cooks and its surface seems better in terms of non-stick and heat distribution. Even without the comparison, I like what it does. The lid fits well and tight, but not as good as in the Cooks. I suspect the flare on the upper rim of the vessel may need to be reduced a tad. Finally, even though many of these lidded pots and pans seems to have all metal handles that tend to burn your hands when attempting to remove them, I have not noticed that phenomenon with this one. However, I don't use it to, say, boil water. Nevertheless, its two handles offer adequate space to be grabbed by a oven-mitted hand.
