Don't Hesitate
This is a nice little machine which does what it should, give clarity and depth to higher quality digital music files either via the inbuilt headphone amp or feeding into an amp/active speakers. I was hesitant b/c of the unknown brand, but have been pleasantly surprised. It sounds at least as good as my SMSL Q5Pro dac (which sounds great imo) and better than the much reviewed portable Fiio EK10, especially at line out level. It comes with what looks like a high quality USB cord and a better quality than usual power supply. I have it connected to a Topping PA3 and Pioneer bs22s plus sub in nearfield use.P.S.: It looks like the same item is also available under a couple of different brand names and similar or somewhat higher prices.

Powerful headphone amp
Overall this is a nice bit of equipment, with one very minor nit.I'm using this to drive my headphones from an SPDIF source. As it turns out, this is a very powerful amplifier, which is presumably very good for inefficient headphones, but it's a bit much for mine. With the input turned up, using a HiFiMan Sundara (94db sensitivity), I can use maaaybe 1/4 of the volume dial before it's too loud. Update: I've started using an IFI IEMatch in-between my headphones and the amplifier, and it's completely solved the problem (the IEMatch's "Ultra" sensitivity gets me to a good listening level at 2/3 on the volume control). I'm planning on trying out an inline attenuator (ifi iematch) to see if it improves things. The only reason I rated this 4 instead of 5 is that the power supply has a bright blue LED. There's no good reason for that, and it's really annoying, so I put on some black electrical tape.

Sweet DAC for entry audiophile
I ordered this DAC a week ago and spent most of my time to test out this with my Beyerdynamic Xelento and my custom UE Triple Fi10. So when you look at this one, it looks almost identical to the FX-Audio X6 last year, but the internal is the difference. Either one is good but there is a little bit different. While FX-Audio DAC is brighter to me, and have less power than the Dilvpoerty one. With the Xelento is dark and warm sound, this DAC drives the earphones easily without any harsh and really calm sound in my opinion. When I change to my custome triple Fi10, the IEMs sounds so detailed and sweet. I actually wore them around 3 hours straight without any tired of the sounds. USually, I feel my ears tired after 2 hours of listening music with IEMs. This DAC connects to the computer One automatically, so at the time you plug the USB in it will show up in the sound menu option. One more thing I like about this DAC is it comes with the quater inch headphone jack not the flimsy 3.5mm jack. Great job Dilvepoetry, anyway the company should do something with their name, cause it hard to remember!!!

Sounds pretty good. Better than the onboard audio of my laptop.
I bought this initially for a Samsung TV that didn't have a headphone jack. There was an optical port, so I needed some kind of converter or DAC. This works perfectly. I run the optical to my TV and I connected the USB to my laptop. The power and sound is much better than the laptop. It's a much better DAC and much more powerful amplifier.I've tried a few headphones, but usually listen to my Sennheiser 650s while plugged into the Divlpoetry X6 Pro. It has more than enough power to drive the Sennheisers. I don't really go past 1/2 volume before it get too loud for my liking.Plenty of power, nice sound, good features, cheap price. What's not to like?

Great Value.
I'm not a big audiophile but I can tell that this dac is an improvement over my on-board sound card. It works great with my ATH-M50x's. I appreciate the 1/4 inch jack instead of a dinky 3.5mm headphone jack. I wish the whole body was silver, but you get what you pay for. The volume nob is clicky and has a tactile response when you turn it. Overall a great unit for the price, and a clear buy for anyone looking for a budget dac!

Great for the money!
I received the dac today in the mail and im honestly impressed. For the money it's far from terrible, I needed something that could be used to play my 24 bit flac files on my laptop through my vintage gear and the sound quality is for sure better than my laptop soundcard. It's obviously not the end game dac but it's will suffice for now while I can find something better.
