Grows quickly and tastes great
I needed Thai basil for a recipe and couldn't find any locally, so I got a hydroponic growing system and these seeds. I was able to start harvesting in less than a month. Now I have a steady supply. The seeds are tiny and there's a ton of them in the packet so I'll likely never need to buy them again.

Did not germinate after 14 days (update)
Thai basil is supposed to germinate in 5-10 days. I've never had a problem with another brand, Gaea's Blessing seeds. I decided to try saving a few dollars by trying this brand but I guess you get what you pay for. First of all there's far fewer seeds in each packet than advertised. Next the seeds crumpled in my hand as I took them out, I suspected when I was planting them that they were probably all dead since they fell apart. My suspicious were correct, not one seed from 4 packets grew after 2 weeks. From now on I will spend the extra money on the Gaea's Blessing brand of Thai Basil seeds. Update: Seeds germinated after 16 days. Review changed to 4 stars. Seeds still grew but took much longer than the other brand to germinate for some reason.

Seeds were Holy Basil - low growing, less pungent and flavored than Siam Queen
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have grown with plain pods and Genovese Basil seeds and used Thai Basil pods in my house plant grower for years. So used plain pods with these Siam Queen Thai Basil seeds. They germinated fine, but they grew low like ground cover over time not tall. Did not have the pungent fragrance or flavor of pre-potted seeds or leaves used in Thai restaurants. I think the seeds i received were HOLY BASIL!!! Forgot to take pics before I pulled out the plants as this was months ago. I though I had bought the wrongs seeds.

It grows!
I have no idea if I can grow Thai basil in NYC because the weather might not be suitable for a tropical type of vegetable. Yes, I only plan to grow only in the spring and summer and during the winter it will go indoors and growing with my grow lights. It stays in baby state for sometime now compared to another vegetable i grow so I’m not sure it will grow. But I think nothing wrong with the seeds, just my weather is not good for it.

Good price. Good quality. Good germination rate. Grow some Thai Basil, it's good!
Sow Right is becoming one of my favorite sellers. I've bought numerous kinds of seeds from them and they GROW. I've got a big healthy pot of Thai basil growing like crazy right now. In case you didn't know, Thai basil makes great pesto!

Disappointed
Listing says about 330 seeds minimum. Counted only 290 seeds. Large discrepancy. Rating is strictly for inaccurate description. Will update review once sprouted and planted. Not sure what’s going on, but had the same problem w another order. Best practice is to count seeds before sprouting; then deciding if it’s worth the hassle of returning.
