Not exactly top tier but these tools will get the job done!

These tools are great for a beginner in the world of becoming a luthier. My daughter loves rebuilding and tweaking guitars. . These are great and the matching case keeps the tools available to sue and store the items. Great value.

For the price, can't complain. Stone came broken, but not the seller's fault. Files are not the greatest, but can't expect the best for the price. Mainly purchased for the action gauge and fret covers.

I only had one guitar that needed a nut slot adjustment so I thought I would try these. I couldn't use them on the nut...they are just not accurate enough. Maybe they would work on a bridge but not on a nut. If you really want to do your own, go ahead and get a real set...these just don't cut it.

This is a good kit to make a small investment in to keep frets at their best (before they get to the point where a full level crown & polish is required). Also the kit has many shape files to deal with sharp edges on bridge saddles and other parts that can hurt to rub against while playing.

Kinda useless. I don't know why anyone would want to use any of the files on their frets...and why are there so many files (none of which is the right shape)? The string height gauge (which is the main thing I wanted) is rough around the edges, poorly finished, and I doubt very accurate. Basically it's just a random collections of low-end items. Gotta' spend more money and get something you can actually use.

You get what you pay for and that is the case for this tool set. Honestly, it should have been named "Fret and Neck" set. The tools are useful for fret work and setting strings to the right height over frets (Action).

Seriously...? It's a drywall sanding sponge and a set of horribly constructed files that I wouldn't use on a guitar I was mad at.. the fret guards and the measurement tool will get used for something. The pouch it comes in is great. I'll keep that. The sanding stone would make a good whetstone for sharpening my pocket knife. But seriously, please don't use any of this on a guitar you care about.
