Is a mid-rise
These have potential. Very lightweight and cute though I found the crotch to be a bit high up. I realized what it may have been is that the pants were fitting on me high-waisted, when they are actually more of a mid-rise, and my pooch area has a lot more going on than my waist lol. When I pull it down to mid-rise, was slightly too snug. So loose on waist, snug on mid, kind of high on crotch... kind of a weird fit for me honestly. However, they have a lot of pros and it’s hotter than hell here in the summer so I exchanged for a size up as there is a drawstring. That is the coolest part, they didn’t have to get my return first and sent me out a new pair right away. Hopefully XL works better. L wasn’t super uncomfortable, but I think the larger size will resolve the issues I did have. For those with a flatter belly, I would think these would run large, so it’s going to vary a lot from person to person, which is apparent on the review!*update* XL was way too big and unflattering, made me look way wider than I am on the bottom. these shorts definitely do not work for all body types. large was cute and not too wide in the leg/hip, but a bit too snug in the mid and crotch (too high up)... these ones are exactly the opposite ha. :/ returning and I have to package it, no option for no packaging

Just order them, already.
I order the small, based on reviews. Perfect fit, 5 pair exactly the same size. No variations. I'm 5'2" if I stretch and 129 lbs. I hike, so my legs and hips are fit and I carry some extra weight on my middle. Easy fit all round. When I lose my pandemic virus lbs, sick for 6 weeks, I'll weigh 10-15 lbs lighter. These will feel even better then, and still look good because of the drawstring waist. Smooth seamed, soft fabric with no scratchy edges. For the price, I might order more. I live in the tropics, so cool is essential and comfort trumps that. The only competition these shorts have in my shorts drawer is 1 pair of $90 Tommy Bahamas. Strong recommendation from a woman who lives in linen. Just order them. These days, we can't say if they'll be there later. About linen: this is real linen, it doesn't stretch much and will wrinkle if you toss it in to dry on high heat like plastic materials. Take them out as warm but damp, smooth them with your hands and leave be or hang them up on a pant hanger. They'll reward you with smooth soft comfort for ages of wear. Please don't blame this wonderful fabric if you won't spend 5 seconds to look your best. Pictures show olive shorts after a day of wear, one side smoothed with a spritz of water. Ready to wear again. Navy shorts show smooth seams and double stitching. I have Tommy Bahamas that aren't any better. White shows the inside of the waistband. Sturdy construction and well sewn. When I wore them for a day, I forgot about them. No fidgeting with them, no pulling the hem down or tugging at the waist. They did not ride up while I walked. I can hardly wait to pack for a trip so these can go in.

I’m Holding On To These
I received these shorts today, and am looking forward to using them this summer. For reference, I’m 5’6” weighing 149 pounds with a curvy hourglass build. The medium fits perfectly. I can comfortably sit without the shorts riding up into my undercarriage area thanks to the 5” inseam, and can confidently bend over at the waist with no anxiety of exposing butt crack due to the 1 3/4 inch elastic waistband. It’s wide enough to keep the waistband in place without adding extra bulk in the midsection. I tried them on with black panties and they were not detectable. The color is a light sandy neutral that will allow you to dress these up or down. Hopefully that helps.

Very good fast fashion
These are definitely "fast fashion." They are great for the price, but they don't last as long as $100+ linen pants (as expected). They Navy started looking faded/old after a couple of months, but the olive green is looking better longer. After about 6 months I'm noticing some thinning in the seat, so I suspect they won't last through a second warm-weather season. But they are in heavy rotation in my wardrobe, so they would last longer for more occasional users. I also have two pair of the linen pants, which are pretty much the same except for length. They do bunch up along the inseam and kind of create into an accordian that has to be stretched out when I stand up sometimes, but all linen shorts do this on me.

Pear shaped, preggo, tall friendly... they exist!
For someone who has never liked how I look in shorts due to my wide hips and backside, this is the happiest I’ve been in a while! I LOVE these shorts! They don’t have to be form hugging to make you not look like a parade float (personal feeling in shorts most of the time) and are comfortable as all get out! My some miracle they aren’t riding up which is usually a major issue, and being 20 weeks pregnant these are going to be a life saver for the summer with a drawstring waste. The natural color and sage green are beautiful! The black (shown here) are awesome, but definitely a dull black not a rich, deep black color FYI.I’m 6’, normally 180 lbs, and very pear shaped; and I got XL - they fit with plenty of room! Please bring back all of the other colors! I want them all!

Good for what I need
When buying these shorts what I was most concerned about was the elastic waistband for comfort (since I bend all day) and that they are long enough to be work appropriate. I didn't care about the fact that others say they wrinkle easily because by the time I leave work I'm filthy anyways. The material on these are thin, but not see through (I bought the black ones). I bought these shorts in an XS and for me these shorts fit as expected. As a reference I'm 5'5", 120 lbs, and I normally wear a size 2 from Old Navy or a size XS from Target.

Confortable to wear, good quality
This is a good quality product. The linen material is a bit sheer and the size is fit. Usually I am beetween sizes but because it wasn't availae I ordered L size. I can say is a bit loose, but I like it as they are very confortable. These pants are great for beach or garden wear.

Waste of Time Ordering
These are smaller than classed to be, poor quality especially for the price & a lot shorter than look in the photo. Can get better ones for a cheaper price. I returned all, not worth considering.

The GOAT Shorts
These have been my favourite shorts for almost TWO years! I bought them in green, wore them relentlessly and was heartbroken to only find size XS in the other colours last year! When I saw black and navy blue pop up in my size (L) last week, you best believe I bought both colours. These are the perfect shorts for all occasions.Pros:- super lightweight (they are made of linen and perfect for hot days)- the most comfortable shorts ever (my weight fluctuates but these always fit great)- great length (not too short and not too long)- do not stain easily (trust me, I get stains on everything)- very high-quality (these are my most worn shorts and they look great after two years)Cons:- linen wrinkles very easily, but it's kind of a look (steam them if you can, otherwise you can spritz them with water and hang them to dry OR run your flat iron through them a few times - good as new)Honestly, if you are looking for a pair of COMFORTABLE and LIGHTWEIGHT shorts for summer, just buy these. You won't regret it. In fact, buy more than one pair just to be safe!

Love at first sight, then complete deception
At first, I loved them, but the more I wore them, the more I saw their flaws. For instance, when I walk with those, they roll up my crotch which is not very elegant (I’m a teacher so I avoid putting my hands near that area). Also, when I’m under certain positions like squatting, the bottom of the shorts are not elastic enough and “cuts” through my thighs. That’s very uncomfortable and annoying. I’m not happy with the design of these anymore and I just avoid wearing them sadly.
