Ballistic MT-A845 Series Spring Assist Folding Knife, Black Blade, 5-Inch Closed (Green Camo)

It's hard to open up. It's sharp and looks nice. Has some weight to it. But isn't durable.

Nice. Bigger than expected

At first glance this knife looked huge. Was happy with everything until I opened up the blade. The locking mechanism fit was just a bit off. Doesn't always catch, I figure a bit of wear and tear will get it right.

Not a pocket knife - too big for that. More like a broad knife. It’s not the sharpest I’ve had but still ok. The blade shape is useful for opening things. The spring snap is positive and best are the slight finger grooves improving the hold. Maybe best for keeping in car door pocket or using for opening boxes. Price is right.

I like MTECH. They make solid and reliable knives overall in my opinion but...they need to do something about the CLIP. I don't know if it's happened to anyone else but, I lost 3 of these knives due to the clip not staying secure in my belt. This has some good weight to it for it's size so if you like that, then this is the knife for you.

I bought this knife as a gift for a brother and at first everything seemed fine with the knife. It was sharp for what it was and it was great to hold. Unfortunately, the locking mechanism fails to hold the blade in place and now it's a fancy paper weight. Truly disappointing to see this happen since it looked like a great knife for the price . I wish I could give the MTECH knife a a better review but, the reality is I can't due to its premature failure.

Not used it yet but I should have paid more attention to the size of the knife. It is rather large. Much bigger and heavier than a standard pocket knife. So a little disappointed but my fault for not thinking to compare sizes.
