Initially I had planned to purchase a fancy spoon rest from Pottery Barn or West Elm. I’m so glad I didn’t! The more expensive spoon rests tend to be hand wash only and depending on the material they’re made out of, they can stain easily. These silicone spoon rests not only came in a pack of 3 for less than I could have paid for one fancy one, they are much larger and sturdier than I expected. I love that they are 3 different colors to help prevent cross contamination and that they dishwasher safe! Because they are so sturdy, the actually look more high end than I anticipated. I’m super happy with these and would recommend to anyone looking for a good, functional and aesthetically pleasing spoon rest.

Many years ago, my mother had a couple porcelain versions of this product and I looked in several places for porcelain, but was not able to find it, so I settled for these ...and then realized that after several uses, that I didn't actually "settle" for these silicone spoon rests, but benefitted by buying these, because they are more functional than the old porcelain versions--- These are easy to use, easy to clean, easy to stack and store away in the drawer under my silicone oven mitts and are not going to shatter if any if any of them, falls to the floor. I also liked that these are large enough to hold any kitchen cooking utensil that I have and that these are sold as a set of three, so that I have enough to use while cooking &/or baking.

I saw these while I was looking for a different type of spoon holder and I realize that I’ve had these for five years now! They are the same as they were the day they arrived, just like new. What I love most about them is that I just put them in the dishwasher. I use a new one each time I’m cooking. It’s very sanitary and I would never use any other kind of spoon at this point (at least for cooking). As far as function, the angle of the sides is enough that no liquid spills out of it. I’m not worried about getting it messy because I know I’m going to be putting in the dishwasher with the rest of the dishes. It’s silicon. I’m not worried about putting a hot utensil in it. Because it comes in a pack of three if I’m serving from a couple of different pots, I can put the serving spoon on a different one. This was just one of those surprising purchases that ends up making your life much easier without knowing that that’s what you’re heading towards , I definitely definitely recommend these!

Works as expected. They wash well. Having more than 1 means that there is always a clean one at the ready

I have had these for a few months now.I have been impressed by the quality of the spoon holders! After 3 about 7 months of washing them by hand, I can say they are almost "as new". There are no obviously visible scratch marks from the scrubbing sponges I use on them. I've needlessly have used the scrubbing side of the sponges; the spoon holders are super easy to clean! I do not have a dishwasher and some warm/hot water and soap with the non-scrubbing side of the sponger does a fantastic job cleaning these guys.No grease or sauce has been able to stain the silicone these guys are made of. On that note, the silicone is flexible (i initially thought it would be harder), but that makes the use of them even better; I am able to fit 2-3 spoons at once on them (watch out for cross contamination though :D). Having said that, the spoon rests are neither too big nor too small in my opinion. They are just the right medium size to fit in the center of the stove.I am pleased with the purchase and would highly recommend these durable spoon rests that may take a long while to be replaced.
