La Rochere Perigord Short Goblet 23cl 10.5cm Set of 6

These are heavyweight little-footed tumblers, that are perfect for a little glass of wine. When filled with liquid to 1 cm below the rim the contents measure approximately 6 oz or about 175 ml. I tracked these down after seeing the same ones used in the BBC series The Paradise. Amazon had the best price overall, and I purchased them even cheaper from the outlet as it was an open box. They arrived in perfect condition and will happily order from the outlet again.

I really love these glasses. They are perfect. I’ve had the wine Perigord glasses for decades and we use them daily. I’m sure these water glasses will be our go to dishwasher safe glasses for years to come.

I purchased the glasses as they matched a set of wine glasses I already had. I use them as water glasses and I LOVE them. It pulls an informalMeal together into something special.

We have tried twice, unsuccessfully, to order the LaRochere Perigord Decor 9.5 oz Water Goblet set of 6. Each time you sent us the 6 oz size (we already own 6 oz size water goblets).Now, we notice on this review request you are showing our order as the 8 oz water goblet set. Versatile little glass. Used as water glass with Perigord stemmed wine. Also as cocktail glass. Heavy weight. Very sturdy.

Hefty glasses with a European bistro look, perfect for casual use. These are definitely not 9 ounces; La Rochere website says 230 ml, which is just short of 8 oz (if filled to the rim). A little smaller than I expected, but if used for wine it will hold a generous amount anyway. They feel really sturdy, so I'm hoping these will last for years.

I like the set of six La Rochere Perigord Décor 8 Ounce glasses. While you can easily see the manufacturing glass seam they are still casual, versatile and sturdy. It's a plus to me the foot on the bottom keeps my wooden table from collecting condensation from the glasses. I bought these as an upgrade to replace a set of six juice glasses from Libby.

The product description says "La Rochere Perigord 8.5 oz. Tumbler, Set of 6" however when I received the package today there was only one glass in it. I'm returning this ASAP.

If your after a delicate glass, this is not for you, but I love them. They hold a good generous helping of wine and are virtually impossible to tip over! They are very solid - I would say approximately 2-3mm thickness. Think of them as the Samwise Gamgee of wine glasses: solid, reliable, practical and homely! My only gripe is that as they are a pretty basic and unrefined design, they are a bit on the expensive side for what they are. I'll probably buy more though, because they are exactly what I wanted.

Bought as a gift. The glasses have a good feel, and a classic European look. They remind me of my childhood. La Rochere is the second oldest, active glass works in the world, for a very good reason.

Exactly what we were looking for! Solid, short stemmed and a decent size for drinking! Perfect for informal, continental style alfresco use!

Love these and very good value. Wrapped well and shipping fast. I would say they are a nice glass indeed. They are not fragile and are a good solid everyday glass which look more exciting than those ordinary more delicate glasses. Available in 3 sizes Water, Wine and Champagne glass. You could also use champagne for sundae's or the smaller ones for mousse etc... Voila!

I love these glasses - classic, timeless - I use as wine glasses (as do the europeans) - complimented on how nice they were and guests went home and purchased their own as they loved mine so much. Tough tough - now i'm looking for larger ones for other drinks.
