The songs in this book are absolutely NOT for beginner. If you are a beginner but Dave-Koz-wannabe, I suggest you buy the book now. By the time you are proficient enough to play the songs, this book might be already out of print. The book also includes one-page Dave Koz's biodata and five-page The Dave Koz Interview by John Stix.My only dissapointment is that my favorite song, Chen Fu, is not included. It fits the intermediate player. In the beginning you can skip the extra notes. We put the song in a digital recording unit (Boss BR-80) so we can adjust speed and pitch separately, play along with the band and analyse what he is playing. The notation fits quite well!

Good item and recieved all that I expected, but it owuld be nice to have a play along cd with music.

I learnd how Dave Koz play throught the book. It comes with the detail of how Dave play those "little" decorative/improvisioning tones! Great Book for those don't know how to play with extra/improvioning dave koz style tones!

Easy to Intermediate level.For starters, I too play sans the note embellishments (turns), keeping to the main melody and focusing on the rhythm and nuances. Once more familiar and proficient, the embellishments would come naturally. If you're looking for a book that contains the best songs from performing artist Dave Koz, then this book will be your best choice. I'm lucky enough to get a hand on this book as well as Dave's "The Dance" song book, and these two books are the best you could ever have. The songs are really precise on their translations and the fact that it's artist approved makes it even more assuring that it is correct. All in all, I am very please with this product and would recommend it to other sax players

装飾音符やリズムなどの面をしっかり吹けば、かなりdaveの演奏に近いものが完成します。あとは本人の力量しだいですね。難易度は高いですが練習すればできないものではないでしょう。なにより、すごく綺麗な状態で届いたのも魅力です。

予定通りに届いたし、状態も良かったです。カラオケCDが付いていれば尚良かったですか…

Just wish that someone would have a word with the record company and release the backing tracks too. It would make it so much more enjoyable to play.

Get this if you like Koz and wish to play his music. Brill. This is almost as good as seeing the man play.
