Great for Quick Light-duty Cleaning
My neighbor let me borrow the 20 volt version of this tool for some light cleanup of my patio after we had some concrete work done. I was impressed with how lightweight it was, and how easy it was to use. It was able to effectively remove the dust and film left over from the concrete work from most of the surfaces (bricks, stone, cement, metal, etc.) in the patio area. It was also useful for removing the water stains from around potted plants. I subsequently purchased the 40V version of the tool, since it’s more powerful (450psi vs 320psi) and has somewhat longer battery life (about 45 min of continuous operation vs 30 min). I found, after using the tool, that the extra power was only slightly more effective, and the tool itself was somewhat heavier than the 20V version. You have to consider cost, weight, relative power and your application to decide which version of the tool is best for you.

Small & compact
First, I had to return for credit because I am a petite person & was looking for a lightweight, manageable power cleaner. This almost checked off my boxes except for the weight after the 2 batteries were attached. I had difficulty managing holding and directing the washer for any length of time. I do believe the product is well made and have no problem with the quality, just didn't work for me.

Great for the lake - clean off the Seagull $..t
Super easy to use - just throw the hose in the lake and take aim at those nasty deposits from the flying rats. We have one extra special (and very regular) Seagull that decided he liked the Bimini perch on our boat to do his daily deed. In fact, he came in every morning a nearly the exact same time. If I didn't know better I swear he had a newspaper under one wing and a half full cup of Joe under the other. It doesn't seem possible that all of the shhh-tuff could come out of one bird. At least now we have the heavy artillery to handle the tapestry of goo pasted on our black boat cover. This thing works on cleaning off the dock too and using both batteries on high power lasts about 30 mins which is about perfect for tidying things up.

Works OK!
This works OK for car washes if you get a different nozzle set. The cheap crap that it comes with isn’t worth the plastic. It took to make it other than that. The build quality of the actual unit is good but the power and pressure is dismal at best. That’s the only remove bugs on your car if the bugs are fresh if they’ve been sitting on your car for a while you’re better off using something else however, though I’m getting great battery life out of my 24 batteries that I use with it.

Out of box, setting up. Wont pull water
So far, my replacement Worx gun ( my original i liked was the 20v single version) worx'ed well enough for my task. Finally died , replaced with this Dual 20v (40v) version. it turns on, isnt pulling water through the hose fast enough to spray out.Trying to preload the water (which seems idiotic to me) maybe a short hose attachment, (primer hose) and have that double as a 'bottle hose' (which would be seconds of spray i assume)im going to retry again in a bit, reread the odd directions. (2 diff cards, with one set of instructions) found the 'primer one' on the handle. other booklet doesnt say anything about priming with water.so far, not a good feel.

Exceptional - portable power cleaner
The media could not be loaded. This is the second Hydroshot that I own. I also have the original which takes one battery. This one is about 50% more powerful and takes two batteries at a time. I used the original at both lake house and home residence and would take it back and forth. Leaving the original at the lake and will keep this new one at home. This is even better than original as it is more powerful. IF you think these Hydroshots are the same as using a gas powered high power pressure washer, you will be disappointed. Most of those are 1800 PSI, and this is 450 psi. A garden hose nozzle is around 60-80 psi. I find this to be about 5x to 6x more powerful than a garden hose nozzle. What this doe great is clean up patios, porches etc. especially after pollen season, great for washing cars, boat, motorcycle, cleaning out garage floors, etc. I love it and is one of the most used tools in my garage. For what it does it does it perfectly.

Depends On Your Application
I use industrial equipment at my job, so the first thing to note is that this is not an industrial strength pressure washer, which usually pump out approx 2800psi. The Hydroshot pumps out 450psi. Where this thing shines is it’s portability. It can draw water from a bucket. If you’re in a situation where you don’t have access to a hose, such as a condo, this is a godsend. You can wash off patios, decks, cars, bikes, etc. It takes about 2 hours to charge the batteries, and it can run the Hydroshot about 1/2 hour. So I’ve found it incredibly useful in many applications where a real pressure washer would be inconvenient, simply overkill, or in some cases not possible (no access to a hose). If you have a larger project, such as the exterior of a house, this wouldn’t cut it. So depending on your application, this may or may not be for you. I like it and find it quite useful***UPDATE - I've been using it for 5 years now and it's still going strong, so I'd have to highly recommend this item, with the caveats noted in my initial review still applying. I just make sure to keep the metal mesh filter clean to maintain top pressure
