Very nice quality for the price
These end that initial scramble in the dark for flashlights when the power goes out. I bought one then two more I was so impressed with the units. If the power goes out now these bathe the entire house in nice light and we are able to move around in immediate safety. These have a long history of being a quality product. I believe these have been on the market for over 20 years. Build quality seems really good for the price.

Elder care at home
This light is a lifesaver. We've lost power once since and the path from bedroom to bathroom was immediately illuminated. Haven't tested for longevity yet. But very happy so far.

Still working since 2001
I bought two of these in about 2001 when we built a new barn. Today, they work as well as they did when new. I cannot believe the batteries are still good, but they are. We had a minor accident and one of them took a pretty good beating but it still works. I decided to see if they were still available and was pleasantly surprised to see the company was still going strong and that they still made the same model light.Incredible.
