More suitable for backyard than backpacking
We recently purchased this tent as our first backpacking tent for backcountry camping. I had read reviews before purchasing which stated the tent had issues staying dry and needed a base tarp, so we purchased a good quality one along with this tent. The tent is fairly lightweight, easy to set up and has some cute features. I think it would be fine for most fair weather camping, backyard camping, or festivals. As a serious backpacking tent, it has some major drawbacks. The first thing we noticed setting it up was how many loose frayed strings were hanging from every seam. The floor material is very thin and only semi-water-resistant. The rain fly isn't big enough to cover the bottom of the tent all around. We had a storm with a fair amount of rain the first night. Water was coming in everywhere. It was seeping through the floor from where water was trapped between our base tarp and the bottom of the tent. It was also leaking all around the perimeter where the rain fly was too short on the sides. So, the bottom of our sleeping bag was soaked and we were trapped inside a tent all night with no room to stand or maneuver with wet gear until the storm broke. It was easy to pack up and carry out. The quality for the price is reasonable, but it isn't suited for actual backpacking.

The "Just Right" Tabi Sock
When I read some of the other reviews I got very confused. Were they too thin? Too thick? Too coarse? To Clarify: These tabi socks are just right for me, both in material and price. The material is almost identical in every way to a man's dress sock. They are not too thin (read woman's dress sock here) so they don't snag nor are they coarse. They are not soft and fluffy but I have never seen a tabi sock like that anyway. Two additional good features of these socks: 1. They are not a tube sock as many tabi's are but have an actual heel which keeps they from pulling down and bunching around the ankle like my others have; 2. They are longer than I am used to, coming halfway up my leg with a good strong elastic band at the top. This keeps my legs warmer on cooler nights.I live in a climate with a lot of snow and still stubbornly choose to wear my flip flops year round indoors and these work for me. Disclaimer on that part: I am warm blooded so those of you who are not would probably want to buy slippers for winter.I am very happy with my first purchase of five pairs and have ordered 10 more pairs. Hope this helps.

Comfortable and great for the price
I have a size 6.5 (women's shoe size) and these socks very, very easily stretched over my feet without being too tight. I'm not sure how well these socks would do with larger feet, but for mine they were perfect. They were also more comfortable than I thought they originally would be. Great for the price.

Two Stars
Cheap material, overpriced IMO.

Great for the price
These tabi socks are made of durable material, although it may feel a little rough at first it becomes comfortable when worn. I expected them to longer but they come to just above the ankle. One size may fit all in japan but if you have big feet these simply will not do. They definitely stretch but are still tight on my feet.Overall if you just want some nice cheap tabi socks that will get the job done these will do. If you are looking for something more then look elsewhere.

Interesting
These are basically thick, black, dress socks with a split toe. They are sort of comfy but its just like wearing dress socks around the house...kinda odd, ya know. When you put them on, the stitching sounds like its about to give. They have to be stretched out to your foot size before they'll properly fit you. Worth the money? Eeeeeeh....why not? Just don't expect anything marvelous.

Walk in Foreign Shoes.
For those of you who don't know, Tabi Socks are socks you wear with traditional Geta Shoes from Japan or with Sandals. They feature a split toe, where your big toe is seperated from the rest of your toes so it can be slipped into a Sandal or Geta Shoe. These ones are Black and stretch nicely on your feet so it'll fit any foot.
