Disappointed, they chip easily
I bought them for their beauty, but they are not as durable as the Ball hinge brand. Not worth the price. I have only hand washed them and only use these jars for storage not pressure canning and they chip and crack where the lip for the hind is. I threw 2 of the 4 in the trash because I don’t want to risk glass in any product. Disappointed.

lives up to expectations.
It was larger than I thought it would be, and at the same time not tall enough. Either way it was packaged very well and I will be keeping it. I bought it to make homemade vanilla extract. The beans I got are slightly taller than the jar. But, it was easy to wash and easy to close.

Great for sous vide.
Great for using in sous vide for desserts and things. We were using ball jars but I hated how you had to throw away and replace the seals each time.The rubber rings are holding up well and while these are expensive and need to be hand cleaned, I feel much better about not creating so much waste.

Looks good, works good, but .......
They are sturdy and easy to handle and clean. The glass are thick and the hardware seems to be of good materials. The design of the jar is attractive.However, we bought these to put Korean kimchi in. They contains the kimchi OK. However, while the juice from the fermented cabbage does not leak out, the glass jars can't contain the order of kimchi. These are probably OK for other things, but do not expect to keep the smell in check. If you have some thing with strong odor, look for a different design. I docked one star just for that.

Great Quality Jar
This jar is fantastic quality and so far I love it. I don't do any kind of canning but I wanted a latching lid and a thick bottom instead of a cheap, screw on mason jar, and I don't regret this one bit!

Great Design, Fragile Mouth Under Clamp Pressure.
The jar is visually appealing and works well for storage; however, it can chip or develop small cracks when closing the clamp. This specific style has a higher breakage rate each time you close the jar. This makes it less ideal for frequent daily opening and closing.
