A: I don't know. But these caps are nasty! Smell just like a sewer--no lie. Even if they were veg gelatin, I would advise: stay away! The smell is so gross. I returned the ones I bought.

**Q: Vitamin K2 usually in vitamin D it puts the calcium in your bones is there a reason it’s not included**
A: I’m not a doctor , I just take the “D” so I don’t get the China “bug”.

I've been buying this product for a couple of years now and I love it. When I take it, I don't suffer from depression, but if I stop taking it for a few days, the depression returns. I highly recommend it; vitamin D is essential, especially during the winter months when we don't get much sun exposure. It's excellent, buy it!
