Practice Word Problems: Level 2 (ages 9 to 11) (Competitive Mathematics for Gifted Students)

Got it for my daughter who loves to solve challenging problems. She did half of the book when she was 8 years old. Now she is about to finsh it, she is 9 years old now. I wouldnt say problem were easy at all. They are quite challenging for a 8-9 year old.

Very limited number of problems with medium complexity....total about 90 + pages out of which 30 pages of questions & 60 pages of solution explanations...The entire book has around 90 problems only. So not highly recommended for the price.

Kids got bored at school so I supplemented this at home. The problems there are challenging and fun.

Looks like a very interesting book. On page eight, the coffee and lemon problem, there was the continued reference to the "squares" as "rectangles".....They are "squares" !Will definitely purchase this series for my son!!! Thanks for writing them.
