Out of all the heavy grippers I've bought yet, these seem to be the only legit 167 lbs. I have no complaints, I look forward to buying heavier grippers from COC in the future.

For me this was the best investment i have made... Although i bought directly from the ironmind coz 3 years ago this was not in amamzon India.. I would recommend this to guys who are primarily interested in strength building.. About my buy: I have Trainer, no. 1 and no2.. At first trainer was too difficult to close now i close 2, but 2 is very very difficult to close even i could not close at my will.. All in all mu forearms size to grip strength to my weight lifing capacity all are increased in 3year.

As expected top quality and standard gripper but some screeching noise comes from the coil Slight problem it looks kind of rusted

get a trainer or 40kg gripper from them before attempting this if you want insane handshake

Best grippers on the market. The captains of crush are the quintessential grip training tool for anyone that is serious about improving grip/hand/forearm strength. Forget about the plastic spring one from your local department store, this is the real deal. The #2 is not a beginner gripper and is challenging to close. If you are starting consider a trainer from captains of crush or a half size like a 0.5. These grippers get better with time and will last forever, very sturdy build and can take anything you can throw at it. Pricey but worth every penny

I've been training grip (casually) for years with the GD Iron 80 adjustable gripper. I can now consistently close that set to 128 lbs for 12 reps. I plugged that into AI and asked which CoC number I should buy? AI suggested the #2 and I think it was right on the money. I can't quite close the #2 as AI suggested but I can get within 1/2" of closed. This gives me a realistic goal. I would have been disappointed if I just spent $35 and closed the gripper right away. I still think something like the GD Iron 80 is the best tool for training and then use the CoC as a benchmark/goal. The CoC grippers feel a lot like the GD 80 just stuck on one setting. Both grippers are of excellent quality! Just don't make the mistake of over-training or doing fast reps unless you want injuries. Slow and steady wins the race!

Purchased a number 1 CoC hand grip after seeing it was recommended on bodybuilding forums. On receiving the grip (they come as single units, not in pairs!) I was impressed with the sturdy build. I've followed the advice on the packaging which recommends using the grips at a high intensity (for example trying to hold it closed for as long as you can) rather than high frequency (doing several open and close movements quickly). I've definitely seen my grip improve over the last month and I can almost close these now with each hand. If you're looking for some quality hand grips, look no further than these. If you've never used grips before, I would recommend starting with a number 1 or something lower, these are seriously tough!
