HENG'S IND Heng's 18511C1G White 9" Mini Vent

I Purchased the smaller vent, 9 inches, to install on the pop-up roof of my Volkswagen Westfalia. I have to say, I’m a little concerned about the quality, I wish it was a bit thicker, a bit more sturdy. That being said, unless you get up to the big buck vents, I believe most of them are built like this. I needed the smaller one to fit in between the top bow supports of the pop-up. This one will fit, and it appears to be usable. Like most of these aftermarket vents, I question the quality But because I have a huge hole were a oak limb fell through, I will enlarge it and use this vent. I am keeping good thoughts it will be OK. Ps. The smaller vents are hard to come by. There’s not a lot of choice out there. Careful usage and lubrication should help to prolong its usage.

I built a van conversion and need a small roof vent for the bathroom, this worked out perfect just the right size for my needs.

The vent hole in the roof of my popup was about a half inch smaller than this, but I enlarged the hole and it works great.

It was an exact replacement for the original on my Pleasure Way 22' motor home, so it fit the hole perfectly, and the price was reasonable. They must be the only supplier of that smaller size. I coulden't find it on Google, and called Pleasure Way to get the source. The quality is OK, but not great. The original needed replacement after 8 years. It operates OK, and does not leak when new, but since it is opaque, I wish the whole thing was aluminum, even though it would probably cost more, or Pleasure Way had not put one in that little bath at all.

Worked great, but once it was installed and I used the camper for the first time, it only open about 1/2". When turning the knob it feels like the gears are stripped out.

Vent fits in the space same as the old unit. However looks like someone sent this vent back and swapped out the knob. Didnt see that till I installed it. All I need is a new knob, otherwise I have to send back the entire vent. If this can be fixed I can raise my rating.
