UNREAL, it actually works!
I was skeptical but this stuff is incredible. I've been trying to follow a mostly keto diet, to the best of my ability and I'm usually pretty strict but there are days where staying away from carbs is not that simple-like at social gatherings, for instance. This stuff helps me to have cheat days, here and there, without losing total momentum. Since Feb, I've lost 14 lbs and I couldn't be happier. I'm not as bloated, my stomach has really gone down and I can't believe how effective this is. I'll admit, I don't take it every day, only when I eat carbs, which is only every couple of days. While this stuff doesn't give me gas (thank god!), it will make you go to the bathroom, so just so prepared for that. It's nothing crazy, it doesn't give me diarrhea and I can handle it pretty well but if you plan on taking it every day, you may have to adjust to going to the bathroom more often. Either way, it's not the end of the world, at least in my case, and some people might find this beneficial (especially if they're not regular and have problems going to the bathroom.) Regarding the science behind it, here is quote from the internet: "White kidney beans contain a protein known to inhibit the activities of the enzyme alpha-amylase. Alpha-amylase, when inhibited, cannot break down carbohydrates as it usually would, leading to a reduction in the absorption of carbohydrates, including sugars and starches." I hope this helps!

I didn't buy this to lose weight, like some reviewers. Rather, I used it to help control my blood sugar, which is how people lose weight from taking this. I have type 2 diabetes, which isn't severe yet, and I take 500mg of Metformin once a day to help my blood sugar.This worked wonders on my blood sugar, which I was able to verify with my glucose meter. Several tests I did proved it to me, but I was most impressed by what happened one morning. I did my fasting glucose test in the morning (it was 99mg), then ate a large bowl of granola (lots of dried fruit and it was very sugary) cereal and had my usual sweet coffee. Two hours after eating the sweet, high carb cereal and coffee, I retested my sugar, to find that it had come DOWN to 95mg. Not a particularly significant drop, but it did confirm that it was blocking my body from absorbing excessive sugars, since my blood sugar, even with my regular medication, should have spiked from that breakfast within 2-3 hours. I tested following several meals before taking this (found the predictable post-meal spikes each time), then while taking this supplement and found promising results each time (my sugar levels were much more stable following meals, with smaller spikes or no spikes). I'm not using this to block all carbs, but I am trying to limit how many carbs are impacting my body, especially when celebrating or eating high-carb meals, which aren't always easy to avoid (like when you're invited to someone's house for dinner and you're a gracious guest, who doesn't make wild demands).Combined with portion control and some moderate dietary changes (avoiding the urge to eat cake/ice cream/pastries, etc with some indulgences every now and then, too), I think this can be really beneficial to people looking to bring down their sugar levels, while allowing them to enjoy their lives without fretting too much about the sugars they're eating.Like many, I did find that my body needed to adjust to this supplement in my system. There is some GI distress that occurs at first, but that subsides after a couple of days. If you try this, I'd recommend taking it for a couple of days, then take a couple of days off (which is what I did), then my second start was very smooth, with no GI issues. Also, play with the dose, as that has an impact as well. Give that a try if you're experiencing GI discomfort.

Count your pills!
I love this product, however, I have noticed with almost every bottle that I have ordered that it is one pill short and this is why I only gave 4 stars. I initially thought that I dropped one and forgot but this is not the case and is giving aires of shady business. I will be recording my pill count from here on out.

Highly recommend!!
For the first week or two of taking these capsules, I was drinking tons of water and also watching my carb intake. I truly regret not weighing myself before I started taking them because I know for a fact I lost some weight! I didn’t feel as hungry and I was no longer bloated. I was feeling great! After the first couple weeks though I unfortunately went away from my diet and wasn’t drinking as much water. I continued taking the white kidney bean capsules and I was shocked that I still wasn’t as bloated as I used to be even with going away from my diet and I was still losing weight (although not as much). I can still feel and tell a difference in my body without adding a diet or exercise! A miracle! I can’t wait to begin my new diet and exercise program and I know that because I’ve added these white kidney bean capsules, I will be 100% successful in achieving weight loss and a healthier life!! Highly recommend! I’ve been telling everyone I know about these amazing pills. Plus, no side effectsSide note: The directions are for 4 capsules per day, yet the bottle only comes with 60 capsules. I would prefer an actual month supply bottle with 120 capsules.
