However the three Velcro pieces are barely attached, the first time I swapped the front patch more than half of the Velcro separated from the hat. They are attached with a single thread, the ends are not sewen back and forth to secure them or tied in a knot. Just left loose, so the Velcro just lifted. Easy fix, I had to sew all three securely. It's made in China so I'm not surprised that the quality inspection was lacking. Once I sewed the Velcro securely, the hat is GREAT. Price is very good and the back buckle to adjust is a metal buckle not a plastic snap adjustment.3 month Update: the hat is a poor product and I would not buy another one, in fact I'm already looking for a replacement. The OD Green has faded to a rust brown along all the seams and on the brim. Yes it has been lightly damp from rain but not wet. It’s smaller and doesn’t push down on my ears like some, yet the bill still blocks plenty of sun. Light and breathable, with Velcro front and back plus a spot for an IR patch up top. Being a smaller fit, be aware that it doesn’t like wind(found out quick on my motorcycle). The patches were a weird color so I put my own on the hat. I’d buy it again, the price is right. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Color Bleeds Quickly *by C***7 on Reviewed in the United States on July 24, 2019* Got the Army Green and in a week I could see green turning to a rust color from sweat along entire length where the bill meets the hat, some similar color spots came up on the top rear and have gotten worse. It is nicely made and doesn't lay flat like cheapo hats, this actually keeps its shape. The patches are really good quality, the stars on flag aren't perfect but pretty darn close & far better then Ive seen on for sale patch sets on Amazon. So for this price of hat & great patches I can live with some fading, I don't like pretty shiny brand new looking clothes anyway, it says your either a sissy, a yuppie or most often a poser.
