5 stars for functionality and built quality
There are 2 features on this unit that are not found in some of the most expensive watch winders in the market. Controls situated in the the front for convenience, and modularity of it's design which allows you to expand, contract or customizing the layout when you have multiple units.Although the construction is hard plastic, it is well built; parts do not rattle within the box. It also runs quiet. Although if you listen to it intently, there's a soft and hardly audible hum. I'm an extremely light sleeper and this does not bother me one bit. It turns on the hour, so you'll have to be super attentive and awake to actually catch the hum at night. So don't waste your time.I wish more manufactures make an effort to produce easy understable instructions like boxy. Everything you need to know is in the Manuel, including fixing it. Two rotor bands come with the package too.I purchase this unit mainly for the hard to find features mentioned in the first paragraph. It is made of plastic, so is many things we purchase these days. All in all, I highly recommend this well thought out watch winder.7/7/2019 - UpdateUsed this about 4 days now. This unit is supposed to begin turning on the hour, however I’ve noticed it’s been loosing about 30 to 45 seconds each hour. Although it bothered me initially, looking at the numbers 12 to 15 minutes a day slower would hardly impact my watch being under wound. My movement recommended 650 TPD, I set it to 950. Mine is a new Swiss ETA movement which has mechanism built in to prevent over winding, but if i have an older movement I’ll likely get a Wolf. However for this build quality and at this particular price point, I would still recommend it, only for newer movements.

Nice device. Fits many different size watches
I am very happy so far. It fits my larger watches, and my smaller watches just the same. Make sure when you order you order the watch Winder that has the power cord though. I got my first one as a gift and it was ordered without the power cord, so I had to purchase a second one. The stack feature is nice though and my watches are keeping good time.

Exceeded expectations
I was looking for a reasonably-priced winder to match my humble Seiko. After reading a ton of reviews on Amazon (none seem to be perfect!), I decided to take a chance on this winder. I liked the fact that it has a pretty minimalist aesthetic, a setting for ~650 turns per day (which is what my watch needs to stay wound). I also thought the modular design was a safer bet than a dual winder, because if a single motor fails -- eventually bound to happen, especially with cheaper winders -- it can be replaced piecemeal. So far I've had it for a couple of weeks, so longevity is yet to be determined, but so far it has exceeded expectations. It's quiet enough to never notice it even on a bedside table, and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it always seems to stop in the same orientation. Don't see any reason to pay more for the upgraded "Fancy" model, unless you specifically care about the color.---Update Aug 2024: 5 years later, I have two of these, and they are both working flawlessly.

Very simple and it looks great
My wife had bought me a different watch winder a couple years ago but I wish we had known about boxy first. It's super simple to use and looks good which is all I need. The add on feature is what blew my mind about this winder. I can just stack them together and use 1 power cord, amazing. I'm never sure about how many automatic watches I will have in my collection, so it's nice to be able to just remove or add winders and have a good looking display. Boxy winders will be my only winder from now on.

It works so it's not bad...right?
So far it works, looks good, and has some useful expandability in the future! Would have given this 5 stars, but it states that it begins winding every hour when it actually winds every 50 minutes or so. This means if I have it set to wind every day at 1pm in a few days I will see it wind at 12:30am. It's not a deal breaker for me, but if you are OCD about your watch winders and when they wind your watch this is something you should consider. This review will be subject to change if it stops working within the next year or two, but for now I will consider it worth what I paid for it.

Great little winders
I have had Orbita, Wolff, Underwood, and I would take these any day especially for the price and function. I actually have them inside my safe and they are great. I do wish they had more TPD settings but they actually work and are quieter than the expensive winders.
