Q: Has anyone else had an issue with battery life? The spec sheets says it can go up to 33 days at 5 minute intervals, but mine only runs about two days.

Yes, the battery life of the TLC2000 is incredibly short compared to their other cameras and much less than they claim. My TLC200 Pro will last well over two weeks at an interval of 3 seconds. My TLC2000 will last only about 1-1/2 days with an interval of 5 seconds. So, if you are using your camera outdoors I suggest you get their ATH2000 housing. It has 16 AA batteries in it and my TLC2000 will go a week or more at 3 second intervals. I use rechargeable NiMH batteries.

Q: With some of the other Brinno products, there is a waterproof case. The description says this is usable outdoors, but is it waterproof?

Water resistant - not water proof

Q: Could I use an external power supply so I don't have to change batteries?

Yes, you can use anything connected to the USB-C port to power it, a cable into a wall adapter or even a power bank. There is also a USB-C battery pack case that uses lots of AA batteries. Janine F.
