The first one lasted 21 years, and I replaced it with the same model. Primed and ran on the first try. I expect another 21 years.

this pump is not self priming.
this pump is not self priming. you must be able to add water to the pump to prime it. Once primed it works perfect. i was very pleased with how quiet it is and it creates more pressure then my old pump. Very happy
