Way better than the 40/45 ton units
This has worked great for doing about 100 cable fence fittings. Lessor models just did not cut it for my home use. Save your arms and lay the unit flat on the deck and pump with both hands. Nice heavy duty tool.

Jury is still out on this tool
Does not seem to be any available dies for different size cables. NO instructions for servicing. Chinese product with a Japanese sounding name. Should state country of origin on product. Black carry case instead of red. Poor documentation. Does not instruct on proper way (how many pumps) to satisfy crimping so as to NOT over pressurize. Instructions do not tell you what type of fluid to use. Instructions dont tell you how to install seals when needed. 60 ton model bearly crimps stainless fittings. Someone from the US should proof instruction guide, poor guide. I used the press for 2 stainless crimps. I doubt if the press could be used for more then 50 crimps before breaking and leaking fluid.

Necessary to crimp 3/16" stainless.
This heavier tool was necessary to properly crimp fittings to 3/16" cable railing and it does that well. But, it requires partial disassembly and re-assembly for each crimp.

Does a great job.
Much better than the first one I bought. Well made and the dies are hardened steel. I used the 3/16 die on my wire rail system on a bout 80 sets of ends with no appreciable wear on the dies. I tested the pull out on a spare set of 3/16 ends with just two clamps on each end. The fixture bent the adjustable end, and it broke at 1000 lbs of tension. There was no idication of wire pull out. I will make a jig to pull the setup straight to see when I get pull out. I think I will get at least 1500 lbs. I need to find a 1/8 die to complete my set. I found a 5/32 die, but no 1/8 inch one.

Broken
I was only able to use this tool for about 50 - 100 wire terminations before it was broken. The oil suddenly leaked out. Not very impressed.

Doesn't work well
Does not work very well. Takes a lot of effort to get it to crimp properly.
